Tucked away just beside the French Market in the heart of the French Quarter, Molly's at the Market is a small, unassuming watering hole that offers one of the best-kept secrets of New Orleans—the Frozen Irish Coffee. While Erin Rose Bar may have popularized this delightful drink, Molly's has truly perfected it. If you’re a fan of day drinking, or just need a refreshing pick-me-up during your Bourbon Street adventures, Molly's is a must-visit. Their Frozen Irish Coffee is simply unbeatable. The balance between creamy smoothness and a generous kick of alcohol is perfect. You can taste the richness of the coffee, but it’s not overpowering. The creamy texture is velvety, and you’re never left wondering if there’s enough booze in the mix—there absolutely is! To top it off, the drink is crowned with a swirl of crushed coffee beans, adding a fun, crunchy texture that contrasts beautifully with the smooth, icy beverage. It’s not just delicious; the presentation is a treat for the eyes too. Whether you're looking to kick off a day of bar-hopping or need a bit of a refresher in the middle of your Bourbon Street bar tour, this frozen concoction is the quintessential drink. Molly’s version stands out for its smooth execution and the unique twist on a classic, making it a memorable part of any New Orleans outing. Whenever I’m in town, stopping by Molly’s is a mandatory stop. The vibe is laid-back, the drinks are top-notch, and the atmosphere feels authentic to the spirit of the French Quarter. If you haven’t tried it yet, do yourself a favor and grab a frozen Irish coffee at Molly's—it’s a refreshing and indulgent way to experience a true New Orleans classic!

Immersed in the heart of the New Orleans experience since 1974, Molly's at the Market stands as an enduring cornerstone, drawing in a diverse crowd and becoming the preferred destination for locals reconnecting with visiting friends. strategically located on lower Decatur, Molly's serves not only as a convenient pit stop for those en route to or from the music clubs on Frenchmen Street but also as a haven where patrons happily extend their stay for hours on end. This establishment is a beacon of laid-back ambiance and exceptional service, effortlessly embracing simplicity in its cocktail offerings. While Molly's tantalizes taste buds with affordable concoctions, it predominantly remains a beer and chaser haven, boasting an impressive selection of local brews on draught. As the cherished old bar of the neighborhood, Molly's sets the stage for an unforgettable experience. With taps flowing well into the wee hours of the morning, it guarantees a classic New Orleans watering hole adventure, ensuring that anyone seeking a memorable and enjoyable time will find it within the welcoming embrace of Molly's at the Market.

Man is this the quintessential dive bar or what?! This place's decorations are purchases of all the other decorations of bars that have gone out of business. That's wild enough, haha, add in just the overall feel and vibe and you have got yourself a 100% Grade A dive spot.

Now I don't mean that to be a negative thing, because to me it isn't. These types of places feel like "home" to me. It seemed like most of the people here were not tourists, and the bartenders were no frills type of people. All I want in a bar is a good drink and to not catch an attitude or have a bunch of people doing touristy stuff. Thank you Molly's, you win.

I got a "Dark n Stormy" and it was delicious. SO .. I got another! Ended up having a few, it is what it is. Long story short, i've been back to Molly's since, and i'll continue to keep going back anytime i'm...
