Last night, I had the absolute pleasure of dining at AUDACE, and let me tell you — this place isn’t just a restaurant, it’s a whole vibe. From the moment you walk in, you’re wrapped in an atmosphere that feels equal parts luxurious and intimate. Every corner, every detail, perfectly curated. I ordered the Chicken Parmigiana — or as the Italians would call it, Cotoletta alla Parmigiana — and it was perfection. Golden and crisp on the outside, tender inside, layered with a rich, vibrant pomodoro sauce and cheese that melts like a dream. Comfort food on a whole new level. The staff recommended the Tuna Tartare, and honestly? It stole the show. Fresh, balanced, and elevated with just the right touch of boldness. It’s one of those dishes that makes you pause mid-conversation just to take it in. AUDACE isn’t just a place to eat — it’s a destination. A hidden gem for those who appreciate craft, flavor, and a little bit of magic on their plate. If you know, you know… but if you don’t, it’s time you find out.

I have many wonderful things to say about Audace. Mostly about the staff. They were so kind and patient with my 80yr old+ uncle and aunt. Bringing us to the elevator and showing us to our seat. So patient and friendly while he was ordering. At the end of the meal they brought over a little Italian drink as a gift. Just really great service. My aunt and uncle really loved the pasta and tomato sauce basic but excellent. We also shared a Pizza and sea bass and really enjoyed that. The fish actually came with some vegetables a rarity in NYC! Although I wish it came out hotter as it must have been waiting for the pizza to finish. We also shared the burrata and octopus apps which everyone enjoyed. Unfortunately I had to remove a star because the restaurant is in a windowless basement of a clean but generic hotel. The furnishings looked like it belonged in a chain hotel. You need to work on warming the space up. Sorry guys but I gotta be truthful. We enjoyed our meal and I think you would as well

Had pizza, vongole pasta, and chicken. Pizza was pretty good Pasta was really salty (and I usually like salty stuff) Chicken was overcooked. Service was polite but was either really slow or they forgot. Took 45min to get cocktails after ordering despite it not being busy for dinner. Saw bartender just cleaning so maybe forgot. Was offered bread basket but never received (prob forgot). We spilled drink on one of our plates and asked to have it replaced. They took it but didnt come back with another plate until we had to ask after food came out. Seems like they realized they messed up generally - offered free dessert. Had the lemon cake - was average. Resto located in basement with kind of low ceilings and no windows. Cant say it felt particularly “nice” Prob a pass for me, especially given pricing as well on the slightly expensive side.
