Ava Brew is hands down my go-to coffee spot—and easily one of the best gems in all of Brooklyn. The energy at AVA is unmatched! The vibe is electric, thanks to the incredible staff who are not only hilarious and super friendly, but also have a memory like no other—show up enough and they’ll greet you with your order already in mind.

The espresso? Smooth, rich, and consistently delicious. I’ve even grabbed their beans to take on beach trips during the summer—AVA on the sand just hits different.

Honestly, I don’t get how anyone could knock this place. It’s always buzzing with people, and yet the line moves like magic. Ava Brew just gets it...

This coffee shop is around the corner from my house and is the reason I wake up every morning! Coming here in the morning for some coffee is a pleasure. The coffee isn't anything special but the space, friendly staff and convenience are enough to have me hooked. Really thoughtfully designed, and I especially appreciate the consideration to customer needs - they have screens with all the trains nearby and when they will arrive! Next level design and function. Edit: the coffee quality really suffered, knocked off two stars. Don't know if it's the beans or the level of training in their baristas but it's a shame and I won't be...

Lilyanne…where should I begin? Kindness? An understatement. Consideration? Goes without saying. A godsend? We know that grass is green.

In summary, Lily is an essential to this place. We understand that every breath is a blessing in this life, and knowing that, every time I engage with her energy in, I am met with the same blessing.

I don’t know anyone of the other customers within the shop this day, but I believe we all share this great sentiment in Lily, with no doubts in our hearts about her devotion, care, and love towards her regulars and new faces alike.
