I placed my order for pick-up around 3pm for my 30 min lunch break and I got there around 3:05. When you order for pick up, you don’t really have to wait that long and you can go towards the back to ask the worker on the register for your order. So I go back and I show the girl on the register my order for pick-up and she just says “hold on.” Then, I see her texting on her phone for a good minute, which was completely unnecessary. After finishing her text and instead of going back to check on my order, she keeps me waiting longer by deciding to ring out two other people on line that were ordering at the restaurant. At this point, it’s been about 5 minutes and at the time, I was the only person waiting there that had ordered for pick-up. Just as she is about to ring out a third person on line ordering at the restaurant, another employee there saw me waiting and asked for my name. When I gave my name, he went back and got me my food quickly. I appreciated this but at the same time, it had already been ready for over 10 mins. I had one of the worst experiences at Chipotle recently, and I feel the need to share it. I placed my order through the app, but when I went to pick it up, the food was completely wrong. I went back to the counter and explained the issue, only to be met with blank stares and an attitude like I was the one in the wrong.
The person who made my food came out and insisted that the bowl had what I ordered chicken and carnitas. I told her it clearly didn’t. She had me open the bowl in front of her and literally dig my hands into it to prove there was steak inside. Even her coworker acknowledged it wasn’t chicken.
They finally agreed to remake my bowl. But when I sat down and opened the new one I found crumbled up tissue mixed in with my food. At that point, I was disgusted and done. I didn’t even eat it.
The staff were completely unprofessional and honestly, it felt like they sabotaged my food on purpose out of spite. It’s disturbing to think about what could’ve been in that tissue and I’ll never eat at this location again. Chipotle seriously needs to re-evaluate who...
Read moreI was so excited to come here as I love chipotle (and finally there was one near me)! But the staff here are not great (and I’ve never had this problem at a chipotle).
On the first visit I noticed the price we were charged didn’t match what the menu listed. When I brought it up to the manager he was extremely defensive and I had to explain the math to him several times before he finally realized the mistake. He eventually conceded that the menu pricing was incorrect and credited us back, but still it didn’t seem fair to everyone else who was being overcharged (people expect to pay the listed price)! As a side note, the corn was so cold it hurt my teeth.
On a separate occasion my boyfriend went and the girl serving him was so out of it (in his words, stoned) that she tried wrapping up his bowl before he even got to the sour cream/salsa station.
