I love it here! From the get-go, you feel like part of the family. Ti, the manager and bartender, is like the cool cousin you can't wait to hang out with. Always fun, always nice, a blast to be around. Total strangers become your drinking buddies in no time. It's that kind of place. The vibes are vibing. And the drinks? Oh man, you've gotta try the blueberry Dusse sidecar. It's like a burst of flavor in your mouth. And lthe bang bang shrimp is mad good. While its not a huge place, sometimes there's a bit of a wait, but trust me, it's worth it. Plus, knowing it's a black-owned business just adds to the whole vibe. Reese is another awesome bartender who's just as sweet and funny. Between Ti and Reese, you're guaranteed a good time. They have a $50 brunch deal that's a steal. You get an entree and a whole bottle of mimosa. I can’t wait to go back.

Me and my homegirl came here for Happy Hour on a Monday night. Our server, Cocoa, was friendly, and made great drink recommendations (the blueberry lemon drop was a hit). She truly did her part as a proper hostess. Unfortunately, the kitchen experience ruined the night. We waited over an hour and a half for basic finger foods (lamb chops, wings, and fries), which made the visit frustrating and not worth it. The place wasn’t even that packed to be honest so the hold up was beyond bizarre. Might I add that when the food DID FINALLY come out after 90 plus minutes, it didn’t come out all at once. The lamb chops came out first, 10 minutes later fries came out, then another 10 minutes later we received our wings. JUST RIDICULOUS!! As much as I love supporting local businesses, I won’t be returning or recommending this place to family and friends.

Dream House lived up to my expectations with a great vibe and excellent food. The spot is intimate. I started with a drink called Brooklyn's Finest and the oxtail quesadilla, paired with a mint hookah. The drink was on point, and the oxtail quesadillas were amazing. For my main course, I ordered the lamb chops with macaroni and cheese and the surf and turf with fried rice, along with my new favorite drink, the Strawberry Lemon Drop. The DJ created a fantastic atmosphere, and everyone, including myself, was up dancing. The hosts were excellent, engaging with customers throughout the night. I especially loved the Bubbles and Shot O'Clock hour, where shots were given to everyone. Dream House is definitely a must-visit spot to enjoy with friends or to meet new ones.
