While I haven't had the chance to dine in yet, the consistently excellent service during my coffee stops has piqued my interest, and I look forward to trying out their menu soon. Read moreSo looking forward to my meal. Chicken mash and kale. I had it months ago and it was phenomenal. Like a homemade meal. Rather quick and great flavor. Whiskey mules too. Today I went looking forward to it; empty house and it took me 30mins to get my meal which came out dry. Looks like the chucked an extra piece of chicken on it because I’m certain they forgot about it and the waiter had to expedite it. For $60 not at all worth it. That’s not including tip bc tip comes for good service and good food. I had no guilt not including that for this meal. Hesitant to go back which is unfortunate. I’ll just have to make my own gravy. Everything else it typical, hard to mess up but alas.
Update: as you can see they responded… I never complained about drink prices. I asked if a whiskey mule was on the drink special and then we discussed the good price for Wednesday specials. So their passive aggressive response is crazy. I had a watch on my wrist and it took 32 minutes for a plate of chicken and mashed potatoes? Make it make sense. “Made fresh” and came out dry. Again, make it make sense. Last time I visited my meal came out much quicker. I will no longer suggest this place as I have in the past. Nor will be going back.
Thought it was a good find....
Read moreFood is pretty good but brunch service was slow and disorganized. Gave them my name for a party of 4 for Sunday brunch, and after about 15 minutes it became clear that they never wrote it down. It turned out fine because I checked with them and they moved us back to the top of the list since a waiter recognized that I'd been standing there the whole time, but still annoying. Then after seating us and taking our order, our waiter completely disappeared. My friend had to ask another waiter to bring her the orange juice that she'd ordered. The food took an excessively long time. Everyone had finished their drinks and never got an opportunity to order a second. The hangover helper and tuna melt were both tasty, though the presentation of the tuna melt was thoroughly stupid. It was open face, so you had to eat it with a knife and fork, but they give it to you on a wooden board covered with butcher paper and when you cut the sandwich the (soggy) butcher paper rips and you're hard pressed not to accidentally eat some of it. I would order seamless from here but wouldn't...
