We came here Sunday night with a Groupon deal, $74 worth of food for half the cost. We thought we had a super deal expecting a voluminous meal, but it was not much so by the end of the night. We RSVP'd in advance to avoid the wait which was not necessary because the restaurant was quite empty all night. One waiter was manning the tables.

We ordered the Tiradito Inti appetizer- slices of thin sashimi and slice of sweet potato in a sour soup based sauce. A bite of sashimi rendered my eyelids to expand and hair on the back of my head to stand. Too much flavor and lemon, lime, and sour juice for my taste. Would have been nice to have a basket of bread to accompany the sourness.

For the main dish we ordered Corvina A Lo Macho and Banquette Killa. Corvina A Lo Macho was not impressive with not so fresh seafood- ginormous chewy calamari, dull mussels, lone star shrimp (one piece), and fishy sea bass. The Banquette Killa on the other hand revealed a brighter side of the night with chicken that juiced with flavor and seasoning.

Some complaints. Both dishes were room temperature when served, the rice tasted microwaved, fries were soggy and tasted microwaved, and the portions were small. Disheartening for a Peruvian restaurant. Also I'm not sure if it was only on the particular day I went, but the quality suffered to the point where it made it difficult to finish the food.

The dessert at the end of the meal made up for the appetizer and main dish and rings in 2 stars. Flan and Tres Leches. Delicious! I'm not a dessert guy and I finished both plates before my significant other picked up her fork. That means a lot! Strangely the dessert was included in the Groupon deal, but was not listed on the menu. Bizarre. The best items were not on the menu.

Perhaps it was the dishes I chose, the day I went, or simply the lack of fresh ingredients available to the restaurant that led to a poor dining experience, but from my point of view even with the deal, we were not all too satisfied. It was definitely not worth $75 face value for the meal. Inti has plenty of room for improvement and I hope changes are made before the...

To be fair, I would give this place 4 1/2 stars but there is no option for that....

Living in the neighborhood, this place is a hidden gem, where I have had the best rotisserie chicken ever (i dont know why more people dont cook like Peruvians), where the chicken is crisp and tasty on the outside but is juicy on the inside - trust me, its a real treat if you like chicken

Have also had their Paella, which is served in a huge portion, and again, it always seems to be cooked to perfection and never dried out and stuck to the plate like other places

If you are looking for fancy décor, this is not the place to go, it is more what I imagine a large Peruvian dining room to look like, , but everything is clean, the service has always been on point, and Victor, the owner, is one of the hardest working people I have ever met in the restaurant business, and deserves all the success in the world.

I hope people will give this place a try, its located it one of the harder hit areas by the pandemic (55th and 10th), it has a small but cute outdoor setting, so grab a date or a friend, have them pour you a Pisco Sour and enjoy some of the finest Peruvian food in NYC from their...

So very disappointing. I live in the neighborhood and was looking for a new restaurant to try, but I have to say, this was not it. The atmosphere is nice. The wait staff was nice. The food however was not good. I ordered a Pisco sour which tasted fine but there seemed to be very little alcohol in it. I told the waitress and to her credit, she gave me a shot of Pisco to add to the $14 drink. Then we ordered an appetizer of Causa De Cangrejos, which was the tastiest part of the meal. I then followed it up with Parihuela, which was a salty broth with chewy, and what seemed to be not fresh fish. Could barely eat it. My friend had the grilled flank steak that she said was not good at all. I am so sad to write this review because I was so hopeful. It was also not inexpensive at $80 for the check. I've been to Peru several times and this food does not do it justice. I will...

Recommended by my brother-in-law who lives and works in Midtown Manhattan, Inti serves up authentic Peruvian cuisine, in a relatively small, street-side location on 10th Ave. We had beef lomo saltado for main course, along with empanadas (filled with chicken) for appetizer. Beef was nicely seasoned and tender. And sauce made with soy, ginger, cilantro & red onion, served with the beef over fries, was unique, flavorful & complex. Vinegar-based red onion & tomato salsa with the empanadas was unique, too, as was the complimentary roasted corn appetizer with bright green, mildly hot sauce. Only reason 4 stars and not 5 is because I would have liked more beef (and less fries) for $24 entree. Overall, food was delicious, atmosphere was fitting (and not crowded at 7pm), and service was friendly, prompt & efficient throughout.
