Holy holy moly this was phenomenal. The service, the restaurant, the FOOD- everything was exceptional. We couldn’t choose so we shared (and couldn’t finish): bulgogi beef tacos, pork belly from the grill w grilled kimchee and rice, and wings (half original, half soy garlic). The tacos were fantastic. Really delicious and a huge portion. The chipotle Mayo they served with it was some of the best I’ve tasted. The pork belly was very good. Surprisingly not greasy like most places serve it. I’m glad I tried it and I REALLY enjoyed the grilled kimchee, but I’d be ok getting something else next time. To be fair, it was hard to compete with the other two dishes. If you’re looking for a simple meat+rice dish, get this. The chicken: amazing. The wings themselves were huge. It’s pricey for wings but at their size, it’s worth it. We preferred the soy garlic over the original, but both were still exceptional. My only minor criticism was that everything came out within a few minutes of each other, instead of how we ordered (tacos first, as an app). This is very minor and almost not worth mentioning. We cannot wait to go back. Holy cow it was just so good and fresh.

The Jin is great! Came here with some friends on a Thursday night (no reservations required) and it was popping. The vibe of the place was great and love how it's decorated. The staff was friendly and showed us to our table. The restaurant was unique in that the menu is against the wall. The fried chicken is the thing to get here. It may be the crunchiest fried chicken I've ever had. Though I liked both, I definitely preferred the garlic soy. One thing I have to say is that these wings were MASSIVE. I shared a plate of 11 with someone else and even that was not enough for us to finish. But what I was most surprised by was how good the other dishes were as well. My friend got the kimchi fried rice and it was amazing. Will be back here to try the rest of the menu (will get the cheese ttoboki next time!)

Don't come here hungry, not bad for small bites though. Service was great. The staff were attentive, friendly and courteous. The place is clean and relatively empty even on a Friday night. The food itself was only ok. For a korean establishment I was surprised they only gave picked radish as bon chon. I was disappointed you need to pay for kimchi but I'm comparing this place to ones in Flushing. The food was on the pricey side and their portions were much smaller then most places. Overall, the taste of the food was satisfactory and left you wanting more, but the portions left you needing more. Drinks are over-priced. If ur craving just a few pieces of korean wings after already having a hearty meal, check this place out, otherwise I'd say make ur way to k-town or flushing.

Juicy, plump, fantastic chicken wings and drumsticks. We ordered Uber Eats because we were lazy at night (tourists, don't judge) - four large chicken wings so 11 wings each. We initially didn't like the price point so we were hesitant but gave in after a few drinks. While it took close to an hour for delivery because no couriers were interested, the chicken remained crunchy and was not soggy.

We had two large originals, one large soy garlic, and one large half and half with original and soy garlic. No spicy chicken but we were provided lots of soy sauce and spicy sauce on the side. The soy sauce was sweeter, almost like teriyaki sauce but not quite. I believe a spicy order would come lightly marinated in sauce much like the soy garlic. This was a ton of food and bloated us, we would be happy with just a small order each.

Regardless of sauce, the chicken was so tender that the meat fell off the bone smoothly and the chicken was also juicy. Many pieces were absurdly large, not your typical smaller Korean fried chicken wings.

Soy Garlic Wings are marinated lightly so they will get a little soggier and less crunchy, but they maintained form very well. The texture and crunch was still fantastic and the taste on these was the best as it actually had flavor that wasn't too overwhelming. Slightly salty yet sweet.

Original Crispy Wings are just like fried chicken and remain crunchy the entire time without worry. On their own, they might be a bit bland if you're into saucy food but the chicken is tender and juicy still. The sauces the give on the side are helpful but...

We recently visited The Jin Korean Restaurant and had a generally enjoyable meal. The atmosphere was clean and modern, with a welcoming vibe that made for a comfortable dining experience. While the food overall was good but not exceptional, there were definitely some standout dishes that would bring us back.

The fried rice was a clear highlight—perfectly seasoned, slightly crispy, and packed with flavor. It was one of the best dishes we had and something I’d definitely order again. We also really enjoyed the kitchen pork (possibly you meant pork bulgogi or jeyuk bokkeum?), which was tender and well-marinated, with a nice balance of sweet and spicy.

However, the tteokbokki (spicy rice cakes) was a bit of a letdown. The sauce lacked depth and the texture of the rice cakes felt a bit off—either too chewy or overcooked. We didn’t end up finishing it, which was disappointing since it’s usually a favorite dish of ours.

That said, the service was polite and attentive, and the portions were generous for the price. While not every dish wowed us, there was enough that we liked to make us want to return and try more of their menu next time.

In short, The Jin Korean Restaurant is a good spot for casual Korean dining with some strong offerings—especially the fried rice and pork dishes. It may not have blown us away this time, but we’re definitely planning to come back and explore more of what they...
