I attempted to secure an online reservation for 7:00 PM on Friday evening, but the system indicated no availability until 7:45 PM, offering only dining room or party room options. Upon arrival, however, the restaurant was unoccupied. The designated "dining room" proved to be a small area with a modest sushi bar. After requesting to view the "party room," I discovered it was a medium-sized storage room containing a single long table. The overall cleanliness and organization were unsatisfactory. While the server recommended the $160 per person omakase, I opted for the $88.00 sushi and sashimi platter. The fish portions were diminutive, and while the quality was acceptable, the rice was overcooked. Despite the restaurant's emptiness and the owner and chef's presence, I refrained from taking photographs due to my seating at the sushi bar. Based on this experience, I do not anticipate returning to this establishment, particularly given the discrepancy between its online presence and the...
Read moreI've always wanted to try Omakase. It's the type of meal where you leave everything up to the chef. Most restaurants that offer this type of service are situated in Manhattan, but I found a hidden gem right in Flushing to take my wife out to.
The restaurant is located underground, when you enter, you have to go downstairs. When we got there, we were the only ones there, but a reservation could be handy, just in case.
Between the omakase offerings, there were three tiers. I picked the top tier one, wanting to make most out of the experience. My wife and I also opted in for the sake tasting add on.

Eating here gets really expensive, so prepare yourself. There is a low tier omakase that they offer, but only if you're...
Read moreWe really enjoyed the food and the service was amazing! We had a yuzu drink on the house and we're served hot tea which was nice.
For me, omakase is about the experience and and the variety of tastes. The reason I gave a 4 star instead of a 5 was because almost every piece of fish that we were served had a small wasabi piece between the rice and fish and topped with a brush of some kind of sauce. So even though all the fish were different and tasted different on their own, when we were served the sushi, all of them sort of tasted similar to me. I also couldn't hear the chef tell us what fish we were eating because it was a bit loud and the chef spoke quietly with a mask on. I appreciate the mask and the screen in front of me, of course, but part of the experience is being able to know what I'm eating.
With all of this said, I believe they served super fresh and super high quality fish for the price....
