Beware racist staff!! The white man pictured below took our order. We asked for a Vietnamese Iced Coffee and he told us they are out and recommended a drink that he said is similar (it was not and extremely sweet) . He later told customers after us that the wait for the Vietnamese iced coffee is only 20 min. He literally told everyone except us. Traveled to New York so my time was limited, and Le Gaz was on my bucket list after seeing good reviews. I got there around 10am and saw that it was closed. Seemed like they were doing a photoshoot or something, because there was a sign on the door that said closed until 12pm but you could see people inside. The owner or employee inside didn't seem to care about customers coming all the way here to try their coffee, they just pointed at the sign on the door. BEWARE: COFFEE BOUTTA MAKE YOU GO BRAZY. The barista warned us that it’s not recommended to drink their signature cafe sua da (five shots espresso) past 5pm due to its crazy caffeine content but we didn’t listen.
