Great cafe for every activity. There are plenty of tables and outlets and quiet, ambient music for those who want to study/get work. There are board games and books for those who want an activity. There are ouches if you want to get cozy and read. There is a larger group table if you're here to enjoy a bite with people and chat.
I want to love this place and give it 5/5 but there are FLIES EVERYWHERE! They really need to get this under control. My first time here I wanted to get a croissant except there were a bunch of flies all over the pastries, which are exposed to open air. When I asked the server if there might be croissants in the back that weren't exposed to flies, she just shrugged and said sorry, and didn't even make any effort to shoo away the 3-5 flies that were sitting on the pastries. We just ordered two regular iced lattes, nothing complicated or too crazy, and were very polite so there was really no reason for that kind of attitude. The lattes were very good tho. But I wouldn’t recommend this place based on...
Read moreFirst time here, love love love it. I've been searching for the perfect chocolate chip cookie, and I found it in Williamsburg, NYC! Crunchie on the outside, soft on the inside, loads of high-quality chocolate. Also loved the lemon cake - it's light and very lemony, with a soft frosting. Refreshing and comforting. Liked the banana bread - but that's not generally my thing. My family loved it. The vibe is nice - upscale trendy for a coffee/bakery shop. On the corner of a great neighborhood area of Williamsburg, and not too far from McCarren Park. Drinks look great too, but I was in the mood for sweets today! I'll be back for the food...
