1 of Airbnb’s MOST loved homes👇👇 We’re calling @japandidome home for a couple nights and it takes 0.00001 seconds to see why it’s rated one of the most loved homes on @airbnb 🤩 Staying in one of these beautiful Geodomes has been high on our list for years! To get to stay in one with so much intentionality, careful design, Japandi inspired interiors, is just a dream 🤩 You’re conveniently in the country side while also only being minutes away from the city in Durham, NC 📍 Japandi, known for its natural fusion of Japanese and Scandinavian design, includes the use of organic materials, natural light, and a beautiful but functional interior to create a calming and cozy space. The Japanese element is influenced by “wabi-sabi”, a concept of embracing imperfection and impermanence. The Scandinavian element incorporates “hygge” (pronounced hyoo guh), which brings in the element of coziness, well-being, and contentment with loved ones. 💌 Send this to someone who would LOVE to stay here 👇 #japandi #japandistyle #geodome #glampingdome #tinyhouselife #durhamnc #visitdurham #minimalist

In Williamsburg, I found this stylish restaurant renowned for its healthy food options and great smoothie cocktails. The interior is cozy and adorable, while the exterior is surrounded by a romantic, floral setting💕 👍Highly recommended: SMOOTHIE COCKTAILS🤩 (Made to order with fruits) 💕Coconut Daiquiri This cocktail is primarily made with rum, lime, coconut, and mint. It offers a refreshing taste with a rich coconut aroma, while the mint adds a touch of cool freshness. You can also choose from lychee and strawberry flavors, both of which are delightfully sweet. 🥰 💕Pina Colada This cocktail also uses rum as its base, mixed with coconut milk and fresh pineapple juice. It's rich and sweet, filled with the flavors of tropical fruits, perfect for summer days. 🥪Japanese Egg Salad Sandwich Made with free-range eggs, Japanese Kewpie mayonnaise, and Japanese cucumber, seasoned with curry powder and served with Balthazar sourdough bread. It's accompanied by a yuzu vinaigrette green salad. The sandwich offers a delicate texture, with a mild curry aroma beautifully complementing the rich mayo, making it a popular choice! 🥗Teriyaki Tofu Salad Bowl This bowl contains teriyaki tofu, mixed greens, red cabbage, cucumber, carrot, avocado, sesame seeds, scallions, and a seven-grain rice, topped with daikon sprouts. The tofu is sweet and savory with a charred flavor, which pairs perfectly with the fresh vegetables and multi-grain rice, offering a nutritious and flavorful meal. These dishes are not only a feast for the eyes and palate but are also ideal for fitness enthusiasts and those seeking a healthy diet👍

I've lived in NY for almost 10 years now and, I'm telling you, this place is really special. I have a really high bar for food, because if I'm going to spend my hard-earned money on food I want something really good. And this place is really good. Honestly, the Katsu sandwich is one of the best sandwiches I've ever had. It was flavorful, the bread was toasted perfectly, it came with a nice little salad. It was great. I also got tea and I like that they gave you the little glass teapot. Not only was the food great, but the service was really good too. My server noticed that I needed more napkins and he brought me more napkins. I can't remember the last time a server was so attentive. I also like how they have a little breakfast bar inside so you can eat your lunch solo and look out the window and enjoy the view. Lastly, I took a look upstairs and there's this super cool bar with Sake, Japanese whiskey, and cocktails (it opens at 5 pm). This place is special. It's clear that they care about quality and they've put a lot of thought into everything from the food to the service to the decor. Definitely check it out and see for yourself.

Pros: The food is very very good and the cafe is really cute.

Cons: The service was really bad. My partner and I ordered a chicken katsu sandwich and a chicken seasonal set when we sat down. The drinks came relatively quickly, but after 45min the food still had not come. We asked a couple different people about it, including our waitress and some other workers who were passing by, and they all said it was coming soon and one even said it was coming in 5min. Another 15min pass by and we started noticing that everyone else, including people who had sat down way after we entered the cafe, was getting their food. We asked again and the waitress finally went and checked and comes back to tell us that our food was not even in the system.

We understand that mistakes happen but it was very off putting that it took several asks for someone to take us seriously and actually check on our food. They also didn’t apologize and took no actions to rectify the error immediately. I would think that if the order was not entered into the system and after an 1hour+ of waiting, good service would be to offer a ready made item while we continued to wait.

The chicken katsu sandwich came down first soon after. We had seen the waiters carrying it to the people in front of us and it wasn’t theirs. We had told them we were waiting for that sandwich and they still wouldn’t give it to us even though it wasn’t anyone else’s in the cafe. We saw them walk up and down the stairs with that sandwich twice. It was only after we found out that the food wasn’t entered into the system that the sandwich finally appeared. The other item we ordered showed up after another 15min, after my partner finished eating...

I really didn't want to write this but yesterday, I was walking By Nems in the afternoon and I wanted to stop in for some quick lunch to go, I went inside to order at the cash register and the tall girl who was standing by the register, was on her phone and dismissed me. She waved me away and said the line is outside and I felt very unwanted so I just decided to go home. Tonight I was walking past Nems again on my way home from work. It seems pretty empty so I decided to try my luck again. This time I went to the window. A really nice girl greeted me at the window i noticed she put down what she was cleaning as soon as I walked up, a nice change from yesterdays dismissive employee. she encouraged me to dine in for a better eating experience . And the waiter was very quick and friendly as well. He was with me within less than a minute, he took my order and the food came very fast. Everything was really great. I'm so happy that I gave nems a second chance I feel like the experience is made by the employees that work there and I'm very grateful for both employees who we're working there tonight compared to my experience yesterday. Especially towards that rude girl I really hope that moving forward if you are not comfortable working with customers, maybe you shouldn't be in the front and especially if you're gonna be on your phone. thank you to the two people who are working there tonight for making my nems experience so enjoyable I will definitely be coming back...
