New Sunset Deli — Restaurant in New York

This place is fairly New and they represent the deli that sold cold cuts, sandwiches etc.. the owner was Kevin may he R.I.P. now, on 43rd and 4th Avenue and now one of his employees opened this store selling the same same cold cuts, sandwiches and more! They’re great sandwiches just a little over priced I believe! I purchased a ROLL with ham & cheese mayo & lettuce for $13.45 in my opinion it was good but not for almost $15.00 we are not in Manhattan, this is Sunset Park where there are lots of families in need! Ordered a turkey and Swiss sandwich on a roll & it was really good. Fresh ingredients and plenty of meat. I did not feel like I was overpaying as the sandwhich was exactly what I wanted and they did not skimp on meat and cheese. They are very friendly and you can tell the staff have close ties. They have lots of different sandwiches and drink options- pelligrino, sodas, basil seed drinks(?) Red Bulls etc. they also have coffee though I did not try. I would recommend and...

Welcome back Sunset Deli part 2, yet not the same warm welcome that Mr.Lee provided when he was alive, he did the right thing by training these guys to continue making sandwiches with love. I grew up in Sunset park eating his delicious sandwiches and waiting on the long lines that sometimes took 30 minutes, it was worth the waite. I ordered a sandwich from the New Sunset Deli and memories hit my tastebuds. Welcome guys and good luck, you have a fan who will follow...
