TLDR: such a good (filling) meal for a great deal. Necessary in the neighborhood, and a must visit if you love good sushi + Asian food.

SETTING: smaller sushi bar with 12 seats in a nicely decorated space. I appreciated that it’s not too tight so you’re not sitting on top of each other. We came for dinner at 8pm on a Wednesday night. The ambiance is chill and calm, perfect for any kind of dinner whether a celebration or a casual weeknight meal.

FOOD: for the first time after omakase, we left FULL. This isn’t your traditional omakase but instead comes with different types of food including some noodles in an uni sauce that was amazing, and chawanmushi which was perfectly cooked and delicious. The sushi is also fresh and good quality topped with unique pairings like Vietnamese chimichuri

SERVICE: the service was excellent. The head chef is very nice and engaging, and happy to talk about the food.

VERDICT: I think this is a great addition to the neighborhood and not so prohibitively expensive you can’t become a regular. We...

Nozomi is Williamsburg offers one-of-a-kind Japanese-French culinary experience focusing on fresh ingredients, atmosphere, and utmost hospitality. Chef Kevin meticulously preps and serve each course catered specifically for flavor and taste. Start with a refreshing salad then a warm soup before indulging in a cold then hot appetizer. Nozomi’s A5 Miyazaki Wagyu is aged in-house offering top notch quality and aromas. Each nigiri has its own distinct flavor where you won’t find elsewhere. Enjoy a snow crab pasta then rack of lamb before hitting that sweet tooth with dessert. Utilizing simple ingredients with attention to detail, it’s not just a meal but an experience. Stop by Nozomi NYC and let your taste buds judge which course is...

Nozomi is truly a hidden gem in Williamsburg! The environment is cozy and comfortable, making it a perfect spot to enjoy an intimate meal. The service is warm, attentive, and very friendly, which makes the whole dining experience even more enjoyable.

The food is absolutely amazing that every piece is fresh, creative, and beautifully presented. The uni and sweet shrimp in particular were outstanding. The variety and quality of the fish really stand out, and each course feels thoughtfully prepared.

Their sake selection is also impressive, with many unique and well-curated options that pair perfectly with the dishes.

Highly recommend this spot for anyone who loves Japanese cuisine and wants a memorable...
