This is by far one of my favorite places to get coffee in the city. I asked the barista today what he recommends, and he suggested I try the white chocolate cookie. I was blown away. The coffee and pastries are second to none, and the staff is absolutely amazing. Not only do they make great coffee but they make you feel welcomed, and every time I leave with a smile on my face. Getting coffee here has become a morning ritual for me and I look forward to coming everyday and getting my coffee. I’m always greeted with a smile when I order, and my order is always completed in a timely fashion. For many people getting a coffee is their first interaction of the day with other people, and having a positive experience always sets a good tone for the day. Every single time without fail that I come to Paloma and interact with the staff and get my coffee I leave happy. I came for the coffee and pastries, but what keeps me coming back everyday is the amazing staff. It’s truly a rarity nowadays for a place to carry a good product and have excellent service, and Paloma is one of those places. I recommend this place to all my friends and family members, and coming here in the morning to get coffee, is by far one of the highlights of my day, because I know I will always leave with a good product and a positive interaction. I’ve worked as a barista in the past, and I know how difficult that job is. The hours are wonky, customers can be grumpy, everyone’s in a rush, and you get slammed with orders. It’s not easy to serve everyone with a smile under these conditions, and maintain a positive attitude while working tirelessly to serve others. The fact that the staff here is always cheerful, welcoming, efficient, and kind, truly amazes me and I commend them for that. You have a loyal...

Terrible coffee, even worse service, stop by if you’d like to waste away $8 and your morning on a disgusting watered down latte. Arrived Sunday morning and there were two girls ahead of us. They ordered two drinks & two pastries. Being a barista in the past, I know their order should take no longer than 5 minutes to fulfill. We waited over 10 minutes for the 1 barista to complete their order all while he shamelessly flirted with them in front of us, showing no urgency for the line that was now forming. Since the cafe is walk up, you wait in line on the sidewalk, and have no choice other than to listen and watch as the barista faffs on with the customers ahead of you..I was tempted to walk away & even thought about placing a pickup order at Starbucks while I waited for the barista to finish his speed date with his two new customers. I didn’t, because I wanted to give this place the benefit of the doubt, and i wanted to support a small local business. It was our turn to order, and the barista was everything but welcoming, couldn’t even slap half the smile he had on his face for the two girls ahead of us. I ordered an iced almondmilk mocha, i even tipped him despite the experience up until that point. The mocha was definitely one or the worst mochas i have ever had in my life. It was watered down, chalky, had absolutely no depth, disgusting. Even more infuriating..? The nearly $8 price tag for this awful drink. I threw it away after two sips. Why have the drink on the menu if you can’t make a proper one? All in all, this whole experience tainted my Sunday morning, robbed me of $10, and my morning coffee. I won’t even come back to try what are apparently the best pastries..being a local I’ll be telling...

Amazing coffee, friendly service, and an overall fantastic experience! If you’re looking for a spot to enjoy your morning and treat yourself to a great coffee and pastry combo, this is the place to be.

In many coffee shops, barista turnover is common, but Vlad has been a staple here for the past couple years. I make it a point to stop by at least once a week for a coffee and a quick catch-up with him. He’s always warm and welcoming, and it’s clear that he genuinely cares about each customer’s experience. Vlad’s friendly demeanor adds a personal touch to every visit.

Also as a fellow baker, I have to give special praise to the pastries. Made by Alex, Omeal, and Carlos, their skill is evident in every bite. The quality and craftsmanship in their work truly stand out, and I always look forward to trying their latest creations.

Supporting a local business like this, where the coffee is superb and the food is made with care, is a pleasure. I highly recommend this spot to anyone, and I’ll continue to tell my fellow locals and out-of-towners alike to stop by for great coffee, conversation, and the best...

Such a good coffee shop. Had it saved for about a month to try and finally was able to drive and give it a shot and it was worth it 100%. Their Maple Latte is so good not too sweet and perfectly done. Love their coffee cups logo look too. The staff was nice and helped me with picking out a pastry as it was my first time coming here. I picked out the apple pie croissant and it was delicious! Such a huge croissant and filled with apple cinnamon sweet warm taste. Very great portion can be shared. Since it was my first time he suggested I try their banana chocolate muffin I said sure why not. I was not disappointed that first bite was delicious! Flavorful not too chocolately and a perfect balance of both banana and chocolate. Loved how beautiful all their pastries look need to come back to try the rest !! Very small coffee shop no seating inside you just order through the window but I’m sure when the weather gets warmer seating is available outside for those who prefer that. 10/10 experience can’t wait to come back
