We had a lovely time at Tsubomi and would definitely recommend it! The owner is super friendly, highly skilled, and makes the experience feel really personal. New favorite sushi restaurant! We had lunch here and it was the best sushi we’ve had in a long time. Everything was exceptionally fresh. I had one of the nigiri and roll specials and it was so good I ate all of it before I could take any pictures but it was beautifully presented as well. We also had the sea urchin sushi and it blew all sea urchins we’ve had in the past out of the water. It was so creamy and fresh! Chef Genta Motomura and waki-itamae Jon have done an outstanding job with the restaurant. The sushi was excellent and they also offered several other non sushi dishes like sautéed squid and mushrooms which i strongly recommend. The vibe and atmosphere was super friendly and authentic.
