Sip Sak Express Turkish Restaurant — Restaurant in New York

First off, customer service was good in the beginning, even though we were sitted behind the door in the corner- isolated, the manager made sure we don't get forgotten and got good service, but after ordering- their bread was amazing and the dips were good, the salad was good, my husband ordered him the fish- it was good, but I decided to order chicken kabob in the middle of the meal for myself, when we got the chicken kabob- in just one bite- it tasted discussing- the meat was rubbery and the sauce was nasty, so I told our waiter about the kabob- she said to leave it on the table until her manager comes- manager came- and took the plate and took it to the "General Manager"? She came back with the plate and told us that nothing was wrong with the chicken! She basically yelled at us and told us we could either finish eating it bc nothing was wrong with it! Or take it home. I was so troubled that someone so rude would talk to me like this. So the manager came back after she left, and I told him idky she was so offended, he's like (let me remind u I liked this guy until this point)...He told me- "well u should've never ordered the chicken kabob when u already full, Maybe u didn't like it bc your Full"....-__- I'm like what?? I have never written a positive review for a NY restaurant but I just ate here tonight and feel like I should. I can honestly say I would choose the lamb shish kebab for my last meal! I had great service and even better lamb! I ate here by myself and had the best service I've had since moving to NY. I remember thinking "are they only being nice because Im here by myself" but I looked around and I saw a lot of waiters rushing about. I don't know what the last review is talking about. I was sitting in a window facing the street to people watch when a visiting family stopped to read the menu. The camera around the neck and backpack screamed tourist! To my surprise A friendly local walked up behind them and stopped to inform the family "this is the best restaurant in NY" and motioned to her stomach. I recently visited SipSak, and had an incredible dining experience. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming, with a beautiful blend of modern and traditional Turkish decor. It truly lives up to its name "quick and fast" in Turkish. The staff was incredibly attentive, ensuring our meals came out promptly without sacrificing quality.

We started with the classic mezes like hummus and baba ganoush, both bursting with flavor and perfectly paired with warm, freshly baked pita. For the main course, I highly recommend the Mantı; tender, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. Also Kebabs are amazing, so fresh so good.

What really stood out to me was the hospitality here, you will not only have a food but unforgettable experience. And the Turkish tea! That was the perfect ending to the night.
