Smile To Go — Restaurant in New York

I recently visited this cafe that left a terrible taste in my mouth - and it wasn't just because of the bland food. The staff were incredibly rude and unfriendly, making me feel unwelcome from the moment I stepped through the door.

To make matters worse, the food was both overpriced and lacking in flavor. I ordered a bunch of the veggie sides and salads that sounded promising on the menu, but it was incredibly disappointing when it arrived. The food was dry and stale, and the mixes were bland and unseasoned.

To add insult to injury, the portion sizes were incredibly small - I was left feeling hungry and unsatisfied even after finishing my meal. Considering the high prices, I would have expected at least a decent-sized portion, but it seemed like the cafe was cutting corners wherever they could.

Overall, my experience at this cafe was terrible. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone - the combination of rude staff, overpriced food, and small portion sizes make it a place to avoid at all costs. Save your money and your time, and look for a cafe that actually cares about their customers...

This was my first negative experience at SmileTo Go. The food and pastries are always amazing. Now although the employees are not the most personable people in customer service, they reply when you say good morning or they offer it first, barely. But thats all I really need. I'm not a morning person either, but I also don't work in customer service. Today, only 5 minutes ago, after paying for my breakfast, it was left on the counter. I guess she figured I would pick it up, walk outside with it in my hand, not in a bag and that would be ok. I asked for a bag and that also was left on the counter. I picked the bag up and put my own sandwich in the bag. She moved on to the next customer. I decided against making a spectacle and left. Hopefully someone will read this and offer a class to the employees on proper etiquette when working in serving paying customers at their establishment. I will try another location. The cashier was not courteous He seemed to rush me in placing my order , and lacked enthusiasm in his politeness.

After I paid he motioned the receipt to me and proceeded to begin servicing the guest behind me with enthusiasm and politeness. Totally different approach than with his service towards me

Several of the guests also made mefeel uncomfortabl, and I could not enjoy me coffee due to an atmosphere that I found to be uncomfortable, unwelcoming and unsafe.

The fact that other customers as well as the employee felt very unsafe to me and it was disruptive to my day because when I I entered the coffee shop, didn't expect to be treated that way.
