I've been dining at this restaurant for a year now, and the food has always been great. However, I've consistently noticed that the service doesn't always match up to the quality of the food. I usually eat lunch there because it's the nearest restaurant to my job that serves decent food. My most recent experience on Friday was particularly disappointing. I arrived at the restaurant around 3 pm for their lunch special, before two other guests who didn't resemble me sat down. Unfortunately, the waiter didn't offer water to my family and me, nor did she provide utensils at our table. In fact, despite us being seated for over 10 minutes, she attended to other tables but ignored ours. She took the orders of two older men who didn't resemble me and set up a table for two women who also didn't resemble me. After the women left, she gave us their utensils and finally took our order, even though I had to ask for water. Despite the poor service, I chose to continue with my meal and ignored the situation as much as possible. When the bill arrived, it totaled $88 and some change. Based on the service, my family and I decided not to leave a tip. However, upon checking my bank statement, I discovered that the waitress had added a tip for herself, bringing the total to $104.20. While I understand that tipping is based on the experience, I believe the waitress's behavior was unacceptable. I firmly believe that everyone should be treated equally, and I hope to see fair and consistent service in the future.

Food: Solid Service: pretty meh FOOD: 11/23/24 I got the Lunch Special. With 20% tip, I paid roughly $22 Red curry was solid. Nothing outstanding but for the price you pay, you could get better somewhere else. I would mainly choose this spot because it was quiet, and food came out quickly. The Thai Tea could’ve been way better. I feel the flavors were lacking and not punching through like in other thai teas I’ve had. Chicken Dumplings had a taste that I felt we thawed then fried. Really not terrible taste but just again, pretty middle of the road. EXPERIENCE: 5/10 score Came in here for a lunch break and didn’t have much time so I ordered quickly to-go and caught some attitude by the hostess but let it slide. Later ran into some difficulty where I got my to go order very quickly ! So I said well why not sit and enjoy it. I was later told I could not do this and would need to plate it in order to continue eating, I explained that that wouldn’t be ideal since I’m not sure when I have to leave and it wouldn’t make sense to have to put it back into to-go cups. I let it slide and received my food back on a plate. Not sure if I was in the wrong there for deciding to dine-in, I just wanted the ability to leave if I got called back to work early.

Came here to break out of my usual pizza lunch routine. I got the lunch special which includes a choice from a few appetizers, certain popular entrees and then a Thai coffee or iced tea. I got the spring rolls, beef pad see ew, and iced tea. First of all, the food tasted pretty good with the familiar savory sweet taste. The noodles were a good consistency with a fair amount of beef. The spring rolls were typical but their crunch held up well in the travel back to the office. The iced tea is basically black tea with condensed milk - surprisingly rich. Some cons: took forever to cook so pro tip: order ahead. Second, maybe because it was the lunch special, the entree was a bit small. I think for me the next time I'll just get the entree rather than the special.

WORST SERVICE EVER. DO NOT COME HERE IF YOU ARE BLACK. as soon as we walked into the door, we made eye contact with the servers yet they did not say anything to us and the restaurant was COMPLETELY empty. they even walked right past us and we had to wait about 10 minutes before we were even asked for our drinks. it was not until one of my party members brought it to their attention that we needed to be served. the food was quick to get to us. however, my daughter changed her mind about the food that she wanted and politely asked if she could take it back and get a different order. the waitress blatantly said "no, we can't do that." and had a smug look on her face. she gave us the option of adding stuff to her order but my daughter made it clear she wanted something entirely different. the waitress barely communicated with us after that and proceeded to laugh in our faces. we then asked for a manager and the manager yelled at us from across the room saying she was in an important phone conversation and she'll get to us later. she never even got to us. another 15 minutes went by, everyone at the table was eating except for my daughter. she never received her new order and I had to command that they make the food because I wasn't just going to let my daughter starve. eventually, I just decided to take my daughter somewhere else to eat because it seemed like it was such a burden for them to make a new meal. I don't think they even know the definition of customer service. what kind of restaurant waits for their customers to greet them before taking their drink orders when the restaurant is empty? and if someone is not satisfied with their food, how is getting a new meal not an option? this is the worst restaurant I have EVER been to with terrible management. I will definitely not be returning back because the only excuse I can find for their rude behavior is racism and that is just not acceptable. PLEASE,...

An exceptional Thai restaurant, conveniently located, and has really great food, service and atmosphere.

Love the area, as it is close by to many shops and nearby transportation streams. There is also a feeling of awesomeness in the surrounding borders of SOHO, cityhall, chinatown and just being downtown is superb!

Aside from location, the menu items, and cocktails/wine offerings are really a great start! Thai iced teas and many other drinks were available to choose from. Luckily there are photos because some of the menu names are hard to understand and may need recommendations from the server. Always ask if you are not sure. There is also a lunch special and happy hour.

For the menu items, we tried the pork chops, sesame chicken, pad thai, curry, roti, fried chicken, and papaya salad. There is a mochi (fried) appetizer, just forgot the name of it. Everything was really decent, and well made. Also, it was noticeable, the hustle with all the carry-outs. There are pick-ups, ubereats, etc. etc...which means they are solid when it comes to take outs. Thumbs up for that. When businesses are busy, you know it's always a good sign. For a Friday night, the place was packed indoors. Due to the recent cold weather, the outdoor scene did not really happen much, but that's okay, as long as there is a warm indoor option.

The staff is really friendly, decor is fantastic, and bathrooms are clean. Overall, this place deserves more than five stars, for existing in such a fabulous area, and...
