Hands down best Jamaican patties I’ve ever had; these are not your everyday pizza shop patties.

The crust is insane, crispy flaky layers are reminiscent of a fresh baked croissant; the various fillings explode with flavor, and pack just the right balance of spice. I tried each flavor between my visits at Smorgasburg and Please tell me; you can’t go wrong, but I’d have to say the curry chicken was my favorite. One patty is great for a hearty snack, or grab 2-3 for a for a solid meal.

I had a chance to speak with one of the owners/chefs after eating at Please Tell Me, (pictured,) he was super friendly and passionate about the food, and was genuinely open to feedback about the food and experience. (Bonus: the cocktails at Please Tell Me go hard and really compliment the food.) I’ll be back to try everything they have to offer.

I could not recommend these patties more highly, go try them (and the ‘96 Naomi Campbell)...
