I tried to reserve a ham for a specific day and time, store employee tells me- no need we always have them available, so I take her at her word and leave. Upon arriving at the store on the day and time I tried to reserve a ham, employee says -we don't have any. When I try to tell her I tried to reserve one, she responds with "If you are nice to me I'll be nice to you. Then she starts with numerous sob reasons why they don't have any hams ready. I leave and search for the next closest store, 50-60 mile away,2 hour, round trip and the price of gas, force me to return to the Newnan store at 2:45. The same employee(owner) comes to the counter and pulls out a ham from the cooler, I refuse the first ham. Rather than get another one she says (WHY), so I can't resist so I respond- I don't trust you. Well the arguments is on, She tells me that I have a terrible attitude and that I shouldn't shop her store anymore. The argument continues for several minutes. Finally I tell her, just sell me the ham so I can leave. Moral of the visit- If you are a nice person who doesn't mind making several trips to her store and enjoy being insulted, then you...
Read moreSo I ordered and paid for a Friendsgiving meal from the Newnan location for Saturday, 11/26/22. When I arrived at the scheduled time (11-11:30am), I found the store closed, although the posted hours clearly show they should have been open for hours already. So I paid for a complete meal, but unable to pick it up? They also failed to communicate mentioning any issues with fulfilling an order. The number on the door for inquiries is missing digits (not surprised considering the shadiness of this business), so I called corporate.
Corporate took a complaint but told be they cannot refund the $150 as the store must do it? Ironically, they can take money online, but cannot refund it? I’m working on that again today. I reached out to the store on multiple occasions but no answer and they still appear to be closed. Clearly the owners of this business need to get things together. I will be addressing this situation with others until I get my money back. I obviously will never go back once I receive my refund. This...
Read moreDue to illness I was not able to cook Christmas dinner so we bought a large ham and sides from HoneyBaked Ham at Ashley Park. Big mistake. Will never make this mistake again. The ham was $75! Had I known, I would have told hubby to get one at BJ's. It was dry, too sweet, tasteless, and sliced VERY thin. Bland, dull, terrible! The sides were awful too. The mashed potatoes were wallpaper paste! YUCK! The other au gratin potatoes were dry, as was the mac and cheese, but the green bean casserole was soupy! The only thing almost edible was the sweet potato souffle. Ten of us picked at the food and then threw the leftovers away. $150 meal wasted! Never again! No matter how ill I am, I will buy a ham from BJ's or Kroger or Publix ---anywhere is better than Honeybaked Ham--- and if I cannot cook, we will stick to Stouffer's frozen mac-and-cheese and frozen sides! MUCH better than anything from Honeybaked Ham, which was absolutely so horrible it truly was not edible, and a complete waste of money! ...
