I am honest when I do my reviews.
It was September 1st 2025 when my husband and I went to visit this lovely cafe, let me just say that the atmosphere was absolutely gorgeous! It was very colorful and expressive.
Now onto the food.
I ordered the Mama’s boy omelette with everything on it, it comes with a side of toast or biscuit of your choice, and hash-browns. The hash browns were nice of course, when I got to the omelette and tasted it… I was not impressed, believe me though it was delicious don’t get me wrong, but what was inside it just didn’t mix well with egg. It has sweet Italian sausage, tomato’s, basil pesto, and I believe olives. I understand the dish was supposed to be an alternative Italian dish BUT it felt like I was eating pizza or pasta dish. These ingredients are questionable in an omelette, especially with EGG. The food took 45 minutes to get to our table, and the waiter didn’t really check on us a whole lot. In a sense I would not wait 45 minutes to receive an.. Interesting omelette and pay 60 dollars even for 2 meals. I also got biscuit and gravy for one of the sides, they mentioned how the biscuits are homemade, and I immediately got excited! 45 minutes later I received these biscuits and when I bit into it, it was a sweet and slightly creamy gravy, not so salty. The biscuits were soft and fluffy so that’s good, unfortunately when the biscuits arrived it was a bit cold.
Finally the services
The woman who served us was nice and…there when we needed drinks and to order our food. When that part was over..she just disappeared and we didn’t really see her until she checked if our food was good. When our food arrived a different girl gave us our food, she was sweet and asked if we needed to top our drinks. Overall a 3/5 it was a bit confusing .
This review was for growth not to shame the business. I’m not here to express hate, I’m here to improve this business. We should support business, not bring them down.
God bless them and the people who...

I really love giving great reviews, and hate giving horrible ones. I hate giving somebody a horrible review, because that hurts their business, but sometimes businesses deserve it, and I feel people need to know. This review however, makes me feel so much better for any negative review I have ever had to give. What a great way to start my day.
This is a family-run business, and you feel that family feeling the second you walk through the door. I met the owner of this business yesterday while I was shopping. He was pushing an entire shopping cart full of eggs. We started talking back and forth, and he told me about his little restaurant in Nye Beach, which he was very proud of! I thought to myself, "Man, I've really got to go check this place out", and from the moment I walked through the door till the time I left all I could think was that this man has much to be proud of.
I cannot wait to eat here again, which will be tomorrow. I'm bringing my best friend here and introducing her to this lovely establishment. She is a big breakfast girl, and she loves going out for breakfast early in the morning. She's really going to love this place.
I wish I would have taken photos today, but I will take photos tomorrow, and I will update this review with my experience...
Read moreIt is very difficult to find a disappointing meal in Lincoln County. So, imagine my surprise when I did just that last Sunday. Ironically, my son had remembered the Nye Beach Cafe from a coast trip when he was far younger. He wanted to go back. Why is this ironic? Well, he didn’t remember the food. He remembered that he had been treated well by a friendly wait staff, and that the atmosphere was relaxed and pleasant. Well, everything changes in a few years, including restaurant ownership. The current owners don’t seem to understand that you pay cafe prices instead of Denny’s prices for a better experience. This experience was not what I would call a good value. The waiter was gruff to the point of being rude, and he made it quite clear he was in a hurry. Gone was the friendly touch of locals who are genuinely glad to see a repeat customer. The food has taken a downhill slide as well. We both ordered the spicy tuna sandwich, which was an oddly soggy grilled cheese with a scoop of Starkist in the middle. The only thing spicy about it was the price... $15 for food that came out of a can. Keep in mind that this place is a 10 minute walk from Starbucks. The food there is at least as good, the prices are lower, and the coffee is better. No small business remains unchanged over five years, but the Nye Beach Cafe was an old favorite of ours. Now it’s...
