Archway Market — Local services in Newport

This was our first family trip to Newport. We love the location of the hotel we stayed at, Inn at Nye Beach. It is nestled in the Nye Beach District where there is a variety of restaurants for your taste, an ice cream parlor with over 150 flavors to choose from, gift shops, and more.

My beautiful wife and I ordered takeout at Chowder Bowl, conveniently located down the block from the Archway Market. We walked over to the Archway Market, bought some bottled drinks, enjoyed looking at the local souvenir displays and chatting with the cashier, while we waited for our takeout order. The market was clean with spacious isles. It has a welcoming ambience and relaxing background music. We walked back to the Chowder Bowl to receive our takeout order.

This is a one stop shop for all your souvenir shopping, along with local beer and wine and cocktail mixes. They have a good selections of cards, stickers, hats, pins and more. Cute little shop connecting to a quick bite eatery. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Beautiful ocean view just down the hill. Hoodies run about $30-$35 per Cards about $4-$5.50 Stickers are a little pricey $4 each … There are street parkings with nearby parking lot down the hill. Definitely worth to stop and check...
