Where to even begin...SJ Custom Jewelers accomplished something I never thought possible...they were able to create my husband's forever wedding ring, which he loves!

My husband has large hands and wears a 14.5-15 size ring. We were engaged for two years before we got married. We looked, looked, and looked some more for a wedding ring he loved just as much as I love mine. Unfortunately in all that time we never found anything he loved. The ring we used at the wedding was a cheap band that I purchased online, because it was the only thing that would fit that he passably liked. My husband and I have been married for just over two years now and it's always bothered me that he was so ambivalent about his ring, primarily because he thought he would never find something he loved.

Enter SJ Custom Jewelers...I visited with them a few times over the years but wasnt able to get my husband to sit with them, he figured why try if it was a lost cause. Finally I convinced my husband to sit with Stewart, the owner, and two hours later my husband, with Stewart's help, had created a custom made wedding ring. We were thrilled with the care, support, and amazing customer service that Stewart and SJ Custom Jewelers provided. Without SJ Custom Jewelers my husband wouldn't have a ring that he loves just so much as I love mine.

I selected SJ Custom Jewelers as the jeweler was proud enough of his work to include his initials in the name of his business.

This was a custom piece that had many steps to it. It was for my 35th wedding anniversary and I knew that it would take some time to complete the project, because in addition to creating an emerald band, the wedding set needed a new crown. We went with a Euro band for all of rings.

We discussed exactly what I had in mind and we came up with a concept which was rendered. Attached will be the renderings as they are great examples of quality workmanship.

In addition to wanting all of the bands soldered together, the jeweler advised the gemologist would be doing an appraisal - which honestly, I thought was going to be a dollar figure written on the back of a business card. Upon receipt of my jewelry, there was a valuation report! That was impressive!

The custom jewelry and the reworking of my original wedding set, far exceeded my expectations. I am incredibly pleased with the finished piece.

My soon-to-be-husband and I can't thank Stewart and Nikki enough for their kindness, expertise, and excellent customer service. When we decided to elope in Oregon, we loved the idea of custom rings but needed wedding bands quickly. They helped us select the perfect styles for us. I wanted a high polish while my fiancé preferred a different finish in a wider band. Working with their supplier in Utah, they were able to order us complementary rings that were just what we each wanted (but still look like a set). Stewart’s ring fitting also corrected the wrong size I’d been given by a different store, which would have made the ring too big or cost extra to resize. He also suggested the lighter-weight Serinium instead of tungsten, which is ideal for us. Nikki called us less than a week later to say the rings had arrived and were ready to pick up.
