This was my lucky day! After driving 10 hours and barely eating all day, Raised by Wolves food truck popped up on Google Maps as being just down the street from our hotel and, oh my gosh. This kind of crazy creative and inspired fusion food is my absolute favorite! Combinations you wouldn’t think of…a fried chicken sandwich with peaches, ricotta, basil aioli and hot honey and a kimchee meatloaf served with mashers and gravy and green beans straight out of somebody’s garden?! One of our favorite places to get a meal to go. The menu changes daily. It’s a wonderful combo of comfort food, amazing salads, delicious soups, and wee pies as desserts. The portions are large, so my husband and I usually split one entree with a side or a salad. Tonight we had chicken fried steak, mashed potatoes, green beans and corn. We also had a delicious salad with farro, feta, purple asparagus, egg, and apricot vinaigrette. The salads are creative and filling. I love the wee pies and basque cheesecake (esp. Meyer lemon). Absolutely incredible food and service. Gourmet meals and deserts with fabulous flavor palettes. Every meal I've had here has left my tastebuds applauding and my foodie soul inspired.
