Sbarro Northwoods Mall — Restaurant in North Charleston

I was there yesterday ate a pepperoni pizza and spaghetti with 1 meatball And instantly got “food poisoning” when I got home couldn’t eat anything else! Woke up Sunday morning tossing and turning back&forth to the bathroom and vomiting! All I remember seeing was the guy making the pizza wearing NO gloves I thought was absolutely nasty! And no excuse why you aren’t wearing them. I called the store Sunday afternoon to explain to the Manager and he didn’t seem to have a care in the World comparing Me to other people! I’m not Not other people! My body is different I’m a healthy young Woman and barely come to Northwoods mall! I did not eat anything else on Yesterday because I was feeling bad!!! I am still going to the restroom the Manager was raising his voice on the phone and being smart about the situation and I do not appreciate it...

Many years ago, the food at this restaurant was really good. Now, not so much. The quality of the food is not good; in my opinion. In my opinion, the owner is trying to stretch the ingredients because the dough on the crust is much thinner, the amount of cheese is a lot less, the Zita that was once great seems to lack a lot of the best ingredients that made it great in the past, and only one or two of the employees offer good customer service. My name is Stephen Hayes, and I'm the asst General Manager at Sbarro now...I just want to say that although Sbarro has had its past issues, it's better than it was before...cleaner and staff is a whole lot different from before...i moved from Charlotte NC to transform the store to be better and I have done such....if there are any doubts from past customers, come in and see...if not to your expectations, your meal is on me......thanks...
