Starbucks — Restaurant in Ocean City

First of all, I think it’s absolutely absurd to have an entire shift of workers who really don’t understand English. I’m all for the J1 students, I think the program is incredible, however when none of the employees can understand what you are asking for or what you want, it’s extremely difficult. I asked a simple question and they all just started at me and rolled their eyes. Most of the employees seem to not care, and have the ugliest looks on their faces. Everything is done with a sigh and roll of the eyes, extremely extremely rude. Not only are the workers horrible, the drinks never come out right. I’ve spoken to many people about this and their drinks always come out messed up, watery or nothing like how they ordered. Again it could not be these workers’ fault, however the bosses shouldn’t schedule a shift of people who can’t make a drink right or understand the customers. This is unacceptable and this is the reason everyone prefers local coffee businesses. Wow...

Im not sure why this Starbucks has such negative reviews online. I love this location. I know that this is not a "corporate" Starbucks or whatever (meaning they are privately owned and do not participate in every program). However, I love the beachy vibes of this location. They really go all out to make the Starbucks feel like you are at the beach.

Even though it is not a corporate Starbucks, I was still able to use my Starbucks card and earn stars. Typically, I would avoid fast-food coffee at the beach (there are a ton of great places down here that aren't Starbucks i.e. Positively 4th Street) but it was early and I was craving Pike's Place.

This place does not know how to make coffee. I ordered a grande mocha frap x shot with no whip and when I got my drink it was not the right consistency (pretty much melted) I told them it didn't taste right and all the so called "baristas" looked at me and one of them said do you always get that drink? It's probably the mocha base that you taste. My response I always get this drink. They didn't offer to remake it or anything! I also had a tall caramel frap and that was also not the right consistency( MELTED!) I also had a venti americano with x shot and there were none added to it.
