So Mob Grill came out to Okc Dell EMC location for our annual backyard bash on the 23rd. I’ll attempt to make a long story short, they didn’t have a menu displayed anywhere, so everyone was asking eatvhother what they served and I have never heard of them so I didn’t know either. I waited in line for about 10 mins and when I got to the front I had asked what they had on the menu she said they have burgers and they have grilled cheese so I asked for a burger with no onions. she looked at me and said that it would be a 30 minute wait so I said that’s fine she told tell me again and I said sure, yes that’s fine so I left when I recieved my food ticket “24” and I was gone for about 40 to 50 minutes taking my son around the backyard bash and then when I returned they called the number 39, Worried that I obviously missed my number I went up to the truck and I asked the guy if he called out 24 he looked at me like I was dumb and asked me if I had the one with no onions, I said yes and he said condescendingly “well there you go!!” and walked away. baffled, I stood there still watching him handoff ..41..42.. and so on and so on finally after five minutes of standing there confused and him ignoring me I asked him politely when he came back if “I should get my ticket back or did you guys throw it away” then BOOM. I am NOT exaggerating when I say this man stopped everything he was doing looked straight at me in my face and started yelling “HERE let me spell it out for YOU” this is a onion Burger truck you got a burger with NOO onions!!!” that’s like a BUS with NO wheels “ you have a special order it’s going to take LONGERRRR” “ are you happy”?? I couldn’t even express in words how embarrassing and mortified I was because everybody around me was standing silent with their mouth open... I ran back to my boyfriend and son shaking and crying, past the point of upset. About 30 seconds later he yelled 24, I walked up there still visibly upset and crying he looked at me and smirks while saying “24 with extra onions” I replied “no onions” then he mockingly returns with “it was a JOKE” I snatched the food away from and him and said NEVER TALK TO ME LIKE THAT AGAIN. And walked away.
I’m not sure what his position or value is to mob grill, but I can assure you he’s hurting you’re business no questions. Later that evening talking amongst co workers, he was also extremely rude too them as well.. No surprise!! I suppose also he didn’t know I am good friends with one of the event organizers that chose to bring Mob grill out to our location. I told him my story and he assured me that we won’t be inviting mob grill back...
Read moreGood burgers paired with great fries. At this price point however, I was expecting maybe a house made mustard but the simple yellow mustard they used made it taste like a burger I could make at home. Same with ketchup packets provided. I just feel a missed opportunity with condiments which can really take things over the top. To me, condiments can completely make or break the item they are meant to enhance. That being said, the meat on the burgers was excellent and juicy, and cooked just right. Meanwhile they hit a home run with the COHIBA cuban sandwich. The pork was incredibly tender and tasty with the garlic aioli. I don't know, but for me to have a tab pushing the likes of $100 for a hamburger dinner for four -- three burgers, a cuban sandwich, fries, and drinks, and a caesar salad -- the deal needs to be closed out and I just felt hanging. I mean these are $15+ burgers and hot Sammy's. I have eaten thousands of burgers in my life and while I complain often about the prices of them, I will certainly pay top dollar for a burger if it comes together perfectly; and quite frankly many times it's the local condiments that sets them apart for me because I want to pay for a burger that tastes like nothing I can make at home. Mob Grill has an awesome base burger patty and bun they're working with, but they could be so much better. I was so excited as I carried my burger to my table, smelling it, ready to devour, and I took my first bite and man I just got the taste of cold yellow refrigerator mustard that cut right through all the other yumminess. Gosh I was so disappointed! I would be okay with that if I were not eating a $17ish hamburger. As for the atmosphere of the Parlor -- very cool and community like. We did enjoy...
Read moreIt warms my heart to share a delightful turn of events regarding my experience at Mobb Grill. You might recall my previous review, which, regrettably, didn't quite capture the delicious potential I sensed this establishment held. However, my return visit today has completely flipped the script, leaving me thoroughly impressed and eager to sing their praises. Marco, the owner, whose genuine concern and attentiveness truly stood out. He took the time to understand my previous concerns, listened intently, and assured me that my feedback was valued. This personal touch immediately made me feel heard and appreciated. Now, let's talk about the star of the show: the hamburger. This time, it wasn't just good; it was exceptional. The patty was cooked to absolute perfection – juicy, flavorful, and with that delightful sear that speaks of quality ingredients and expert preparation. The bun was fresh and held everything together beautifully, while the toppings were vibrant and harmonized perfectly. Every bite was a testament to the dedication to crafting a truly satisfying hamburger. It not only met but significantly exceeded my expectations. What impressed me most was the evident effort to learn and improve. It's clear that my previous feedback, and likely that of others, was taken to heart. This willingness to evolve and prioritize customer satisfaction speaks volumes about the integrity and the passion of its owner, Marco. My experience today has transformed me from a somewhat disappointed customer into an enthusiastic advocate. It's not just about the fantastic hamburger; it's about the exceptional service and the genuine care demonstrated by Marco...
