Zaytuna Mediterranean Cuisine (food truck) — Restaurant in Omaha

I saw this restaurant featured on DoorDash and saw so many positive feedback about Zaytuna, I had to try it. My first time trying Zaytuna, I was not disappointed. Everything was delicious. I ordered the Gyro and Kafta daily special, and the chicken Shawarma. I would say the Kafta special and chicken Shawarma were my favorite. I liked that they used basmati rice with the meat over it. The onions, tomatoes, and lettuce made it better and you can eat the Daily speciald without the pita bread. The Chicken Shawarma was great and the pickle that was wrapped with the chicken was delicious. My only complaint (just a small one) is the start time.

Overall, I would highly recommend Zaytuna to anyone wanting to try mediterranean food for first-timers. I would suggest eating something to tide you over until they open because you'll be waiting a while until they start...

Food was dry poorly prepped kid was handing free stuff out to his friends forgot our drinks kid was like 10

humus super salty and heavily oiled with exstra Virgin olive oil had been dieing to eat here and was super let down on the quality of food however will be giving it another go as the chicken in the Shwarma while dry as ash has good seasoning will be giving this place one more chance not sure when tho

Suggestion lower the salt in your humus add black olive slices as garnish pita was great whoever made that knows what they are doing great flavors

Chicken you gotta add sauce you can't serve dry chicken in a dry wrap like that seasoning was good pop some sauce in the wrap and we will be looking...

The food is great, five stars for a food truck that serves tasty food at 1am on a Wednesday.

But be aware that the guy in the window might get a little shady and overcharge you a couple of bucks. Or maybe he decides what you’re tipping. Either way, it looks like my credit card was hit for about $7-8 more than I would’ve expected from the prices on the side of the truck for three people. No big deal, and I see it as a convenience charge for time and location. But the customer next to me was upset for his card getting charged $14 for something that was listed as $9.50 on the truck.

They might consider putting up a sign saying they’re charging an extra few bucks to cover rising costs,...
