I have come to this kiosk nearly every single day over the last few weeks, and for whatever reason, they are ALWAYS out of drip coffee. I have even tried switching up the times that I show up, from coming in the afternoon on my lunch breaks to coming in the morning right when they open. Every single time I stop by, regardless of what time it is, they tell me that they are out of coffee and try to upsell me an "Americano," which is just watered down espresso. Not. The. Same.
The other day, I stopped by around noon and was told that they only brewed coffee in the morning. I asked what time they opened. They said 8 am. Today, I came by before the mall had even opened, and the employee told me that they only brew it between 12 pm and 2 pm. So which is it? Are they lying about the time because they just don't feel like making drip coffee? Are they lying to trying to force customers to buy more expensive, espresso based drinks?
This is a coffee shop. Why is it so difficult to get a normal cup of hot coffee at this place?
This is the only coffee place in the mall currently now that the Starbucks closed (used to be in the same kiosk that is now Gregorys) a and the other Starbucks in the mall, in the food court is closed for renovations. So you would think they would want to capitalize on the opportunity to earn the loyalty of mall regulars - before Starbucks reopens.
Lastly, Jesse is amazing. He's the only employee that has been honest with me, and he tries to make things right. Excellent customer service skills. Most customers are understanding if you are just honest with them, and apologetic. I can tell that he used to work at Starbucks because he has been trained properly. The rest of Gregorys staff (and corporate partners) need to get...
Read moreI Loved it and the price matched the quality. The coffee tastes like the fresh coffee that is grounded from coffee beans that is fresh. It has the coffee taste vibe I would taste in San Diego. The price was about 5 or 6 bucks which was Awesome for a medium cold brew. Have lots of water before because the coffee is strong and I got a headache. That's when you know coffee is very good when it woke me up and gave me a headache.
The staff was very friendly and patient. The customers on the other hand need to be patient and give people space to order. SLOW DOWN and calm down always in a hurry people. SlOW DOWN.
5 stars I'll be back again. I would like to see the coffee shop have floral coffee options too like lavender, honey dew, strawberry flavored...
Read moreI will have to say this has become my new favorite stop in the mall! I had stopped by there a couple days ago doing my regular shopping and I saw this kiosk and the barista I believe his name was Jesse was extremely helpful and provided amazing service. I honestly never heard of Gregory's before and he was so patient and easy to talk to about the things I like in a drink and he recommended Blue steel. 10/10 not only was it delicious and had a bunch of caffeine which I need to deal with my job but it had just few calories which was the added bonus. So if you guys haven't tried Gregory's please do when you're at the mall and I hope that you guys get to experience the same amazing service that I had....
