Beans & Brews Coffee House — Restaurant in Orem

I wanted to like this place, but this is the second bean& Brew location, I went to that the coffee tastes like chocolate milk with espresso in it.

I came in today to ordered a coffee, that I thought that was going to be good, and I believe they messed up my order. In addition to that, I ordered one of their muffins and their muffins was still cold on the inside, and not very good.

The coffee was mediocre, it tasted like chocolate milk with a little bit of espresso in it, and with his company being all over Utah, you would think that they would provide good tasting coffee.

If you're looking for a good coffee place, I will recommend you try your local Starbucks, Starbucks may not be price effective, but I will tell you, I've gotten some of the best coffee there because, they know how to make a good coffee.

However, this place doesn't and I wasted $8 on a cup of terrible cold coffee and a muffin that was not worth it.

Unfortunately, I will not be coming back to this establishment or any bean& Brew because, their coffee is not good. To be honest, I don't know what the hype is all about, because you get mediocre coffee for outrageous price, when you can go to Starbucks and get excellent cup of coffee, for a little more money.

I rather pay more for a excellent cup of coffee, then pay a little for a mediocre cup of coffee.

I could have made a better cup, as matter of fact, I've made a better expresso at home, than wasting my time going to this place.

Bean & brew not only failed me once, but twice with their mediocre coffee. So if you're looking for a excellent coffee place, I would recommend you try Starbucks or just search around, but this place has proven twice that they do not know anything...

Overall, Beans & Brews is a fantastic coffee shop. The flavor, quality and value per dollar is EXPONENTIALLY better than Starbucks. Overall a fantastic place to grab a drink and a bite to eat. I like their Egg White Croissant, and they have an amazing Cocoa Bean frappe that uses a delicious whip cream and three shots of espresso to make it this perfect mix of creamy and earthy coffee flavor. Skål to the employees that REALLY know how to make this.

I would give a full five star review, but often at this location you seem to find the staff are either inattentive or rude. Obviously this doesn't apply to all, but I'd say of the 2/3 times a week we get coffee, half the time someone is quite dreary and treats you like you're just an annoyance. I get it, we totally are, we're customers, but even a slightly positive tone can turn the tide of your customers day, which is quite important considering it's at the start.

Again, a great place to grab a bite to eat and a good drink, which in the end is why...

So one of my employees just had an altercation with the manager there as a paying customer and as soon as I heard about it , I came in all the good energy to apologize and keep our relationship open in all good faith due to the fact that we are next door to each other and I am too a consistent customer and a good neighbor. I was immediately yelled at , In a hostile tone by the manager and was told I am not welcomed in the building ever again and told police was on their way … not sure what that was all about and why I am not allowed to have a cordial conversation with someone I buy multiple coffees from and have offered them my best self at all times … I am expecting a call from someone in charge but this is not acceptable in any way type or form I have never done anything that is deserving of this treatment specially after the good faith gestures I’ve shown every single time I come in woowwwww im in disbelief totally shameful and...
