I cannot in good faith recommend this place. I stopped in to pick up a kids meal to go. The girl at the register asked me if I wanted a drink, which I thought was an odd question as the meal did come with a drink, per their menu. When she handed me the cup, I thought, hmm that's weird.. it was a rather large cup for a kids meal. I went to fill up my drink and as I stood waiting for my food, I noticed my receipt said $2.29 for a styrofoam cup. I inquired about the extra charge stating that their menu said the meal came with a drink. The girl said, "well if you're ordering it, you have to pay for a full size drink." Umm, what? I am ordering a meal to-go. How do you make the determination that the meal was for me? Instead of arguing, I asked for my money back. Another girl, I assume the on-duty manager or lead, asked me if anything was wrong. I said "yes, your menu states that a kids meal comes with a drink and here you are charging me. I rather take my business elsewhere." The girl who originally took my order got a little nasty and said, "well isn't the meal for you?" I said, "excuse me? How did you come to that conclusion? I am taking the meal to go?" Either way, I do not recommend this place based on the rude unprofessionalism of the staff. Please read your receipts before walking away. I will never visit this establishment again. And, I have already posted on my social medias and told my friends and family to avoid this place like the plague.
EDITED TO RESPOND TO BUSINESS: I am not sure why I need to contact you for an explanation as stated below so you can tell me why your staff was rude or why said kids meal is advertised with a drink but yet I am charged for one? I am asking to simply honor what you advertised. I could understand if I was sitting down to eat a meal and I ordered the kids' meal. I do not visit sit-down restaurants and order from the kids' menu. I respect that. However, I am taking the meal to go. Just because there is no child with me, do not assume there isn't one. Your staff made incorrect assumptions about my order. I have no issues paying for an extra drink if I asked for one. But to be charged for something that clearly comes with the meal is false advertising. Do you ask every single adult that visits your establishment to prove they have children? This is the first time I've ever encountered this and trust me, I buy a lot of kids' meals to go. If you are looking for some great greek food, I recommend "The Great Greek" on Narcoosee Rd. I order kids meals to go without incident here and the customer service is excellent despite the relatively young staff. Take note,...
Read moreI wanted something lite to eat, so I came here. No customers inside. So when I open the door all employees looked at me but I was the one to say hello. The young man behind the counter with no energy said hello back. The one I think was the supervisor simply glare at me and went in with what she was doing. I order a kids chicken skewer meal and the hummus and pita. I order the kids meal and even told the cashier “I’m not been cheap, I have a gastric bypass”. He kind of of smile and said: “is ok”. When I’m about to pay, I checked if there was a drink included with the meal as most places do and yes it was included. For whatever reason the supervisor or whomever she was came by a the cashier asked is the drink included with the meal. Again I mention, this time to the supervisor, that I have a gastric bypass. She looked at me like with a “sure whatever look” so I showed her my scar. She said”I didn’t need to see all that”. Even though it clearly states in their menu that a drink is included with the kids meal, she said: “just this time I’m gonna go and give it to you”. I explain that I can’t eat that much food and that is why I wanted a smaller size meal. The food was descent that’s the only reason I gave 3 stars. I even noticed a young lady bring food to a table near by and the customers said thank you while smiling at her and she didn’t even smile back. When it comes to customer service, friendliness, politeness, been courteous, making the customers feel welcomed and accommodating customers needs I have to then give a ZERO stars they are lacking that from the manager to the staff. Will I come back to this particular location? Absolutely not! Suggestion: give half...
