Would rate lower if I could. Truly pathetic Service. When I get there, the entire establishment is empty, except for one girl sitting at a booth eating, it turned out that this was the girl that works behind the counter, so she gets up and goes behind the counter to serve my food. I ordered a bowl, and selected steak for my protein. There was hardly any steak at the bottom of the container, I literally thought she would go in the back and get another container to finish putting more, and fresher steak in my bowl, but she didn’t. She literally scraped the dried, burnt and hard steak out of the bottom of the container, and then just continued on down the line with the rest of the fixings. When she rings it up, she has the nerve to put up a tip selection screen, which I promptly selected None. I had a seat to eat my bowl which was mainly rice and a few burnt pieces of steak, and I looked around at the disgusting state of the restaurant itself. Trash on the tables, trash on the floors. Trashcan overflowing, with a bunch of empty food trays still on the top of it. The girl that served me immediately followed me back around the counter and sat down and continued to eat her meal. You would’ve thought she would’ve gone to the back of the kitchen with the empty bowl of steak and brought out a fresh bowl for the next customer. But she didn’t, she just had a seat and continue to eat her own meal. What is truly pathetic is the fact that this worker has no initiative to actually clean and sweep the restaurant. There was literally no one in there. But I’m sure she considers that not her job, or she is probably only told to clean at the end of the evening. I really have no idea, but it’s pathetic to have an empty establishment and you can’t take the initiative to go and wipe off the tables and sweep the floor. it shows you the state of our workforce today, there is no one watching, so they’re just going to sit there and do nothing. They will never go above and beyond. And on top of that, they expect to be tipped. I feel bad for For the owner of that establishment. If that’s how you run a business, if you can’t put a manager in charge of that place that knows how to run a place, then you don’t deserve to be a business owner. You are just hurting that company brand. And eventually, you have to go out of business. I was in there at 5:15 today, if the manager sees this, you can go and see who the worker was. For all I know, she was probably the manager. Regardless, she doesn’t deserve to have a job. UPDATE-should’ve read the review prior to mine, just before going to this location, it was written a week before mine, and the exact same issues that I noted, total lack of care by the employees, on keeping the establishment clean… And sure enough, 30 minutes after leaving this establishment, I was running for the toilet… The health department should shut...
Read moreI am a huge fan of Moe's, but this location is terrible, especially for delivery.
Delivery: Either through a food delivery app OR directly through their website, it is a mess. So far, I seem to get better results ordering through their website, but they are still really careless. I order a very basic burrito every time and frequently get the wrong ingredients. Examples: I get the wrong beans regularly, once I got chicken in my veggie burrito. Once, I ordered black beans on my burrito. Instead, I got a burrito with no beans and received two large cups/bowls of pinto beans on the side. What in the world? I regularly get 1/4th a bag of chips, even when I order the largest bowl of queso. Lately, I have gotten my burrito and a handful of chips inside the to-go tray they use for quesadillas alongside my bowl of queso. They are out of an ingredient regularly. For three days now, they have been out of seasoned rice on apps and their website. Often, it's a type of beans.
Months ago, they had an issue where the ticket would print "veggie burrito" and they would assume it was a burrito they offered with peppers and onions. Despite speaking to them about this multiple times and being told they were aware and trained on the issue, I still received peppers and onions. I quit ordering for a while and started back recently.
Prior to that, they would send me a completely different burrito from what I ordered despite the ticket being attached to my bag being my order. I stopped ordering for a while and then returned to find the issue with peppers and onions.
I keep trying them again, because it's the only location that delivers to me and it's one of the few delivered meals that I like and treat myself to. I don't plan to try again.
In Person: When I visit the restaurant, employees always seem new and untrained. Example: I have had some start to put pico or lettuce on, when I haven't begun to ask for the ingredients I'd like. Food is not always warm, which is weird because I'm watching my order being made, not having it delivered.
Overall, avoid this location for delivery and be aware it might be disappointing for in person ordering as well. They have supply issues, service issues, food issues, and clearly just...
Read moreMy wife & I love eating at Moe’s, the Lee Vista location is our favorite. Unfortunately we both were served meat that was old & dry on each of our burritos. The next day I called Moe’s and talked to Chris W. He apologized for the inconvenience and offered to treat us next time we eat there. The next week, we took him up on his offer. Without knowing it was us entering his restaurant, he called out a welcoming, “Welcome to Moe’s!” Then he asked what we would like to eat. I explained to him who we were and he totally remembered us and our names! He didn’t have to go look up what our names were, this made us feel important right away. He made the food for my wife and myself and this made us feel even more important now. We didn’t just get passed off to someone else for them to help us, he wanted to do it himself! We ordered our usuals, steak homewrecker for me and a steak stack for my wife. We observed that all of the meats were freshly cooked & amazing looking. The steak was hot & fresh literally right off the grill. Each & every side that we saw were fresh and delicious looking. The Manager Chris W. surprised us by treating us to both of our meals and he even threw in some queso, chips & drinks too. Again he apologized for the past inconvenience, he said he was more than happy to treat us to make up for it. Then we sat down to get drinks & eat our food. I’m not exaggerating at all when I tell you, this was the best tasting burrito I’ve ever had. Every item was fresh, the steak was cooked to perfection & the perfect temperature too. My wife’s steak stack was also the taste of perfection with every bite. She shared hers with me and I shared mine with her as well and we were both amazed once again. I don’t usually do reviews for restaurants unless they mess up my order or do something unprofessional. This was well worth taking the extra time to write and share the perfectly positive experience we were served with at Moe’s. I can’t wait to share our positive experience with friends & coworkers. Thank you once again Chris W. from the Moe’s at the Lee Vista location. You will be seeing us again for dinner very soon, next week sounds very good...
