Twistee Treat of I-Drive — Restaurant in Orlando

I am an Orlando ice cream explorer. Here's why you should avoid this location, followed by where you SHOULD GO at the end. At 9:12pm this Friday I placed an order at the twistee treat on International Drive, order 80. By 9:35pm, all the way through order 84 had been called so I had to go up the counter and ask where was order 80. They told me they hadn't started it yet 🫠. We received our two shakes and baby cup of vanilla soft serve at 9:38. The shakes were overflowing and messy and not mixed. The picture of the shake is how we received it. All the flavor was at the bottom. I don't feel we got a good value or good experience for what we paid for.

I emailed Twistee Treat customer service. Their reply: "Thanks so much for reaching out. The Twistee Treat on I-Drive is an older franchise that is not part of the locations that are corporately owned by us, Twistee Treat USA.

They make their items differently than us. We apologize for the confusion. Here is a list of the locations we do own. Feel free to stop by anytime!" 😯

Now. You're a smart customer who loves ice cream. Why else would you be reading reviews for ice cream? Do you really, REALLY want to go to a location whose company just threw it under the bus in an email?

"They make their items differently than us" In writing, Twistee Treat just confirmed that if you order one of their $7.99 shakes and it's not made to your liking, it doesn't matter. There are no rules here. Barely mixed Nutella shake made out of stale milk? Sorry, that's how this location makes things.

This is for all my Indian friends, this place is filled with Latino girls, DO NOT WASTE YOUR Money and get humiliated. I asked for butter pecan ice cream in a cone, girl asked 1scoop or 2, I said 2, by the time she had it to me, second scoop on top was ready to fall on the ground, I asked for a cup, another girl who was bossy told she can give a transparent plastic cup, as I was receiving the ice cream fell on the counter, I told her she could have told me 2 scoops is too much for a small 2 inch cone. I thought it’s going to be big wide deep cone, the bossy was girl Was mean and said I should get out and shut the glass window. All the people around me were Latinos they were all watching with a smirk on their face, no one came for my defense, they all threw a dirty look. This happened on 03.16.2024 evening after 6:00pm just in case if the management is reviewing this, I request them to fire that mean bossy Latino girl, she is a teenager with no manners or courtesy. I wasted 8$, I was very upset then I went to cold stone cream nearby to get the same ice cream.

Had a horrible experience. The girl taking orders today was extremely rude and just plain disrespectful. I ordered a dirt cup, small vanilla cone, medium vanilla ice cream, and a brownie Sunday cup. I asked for everything to be vanilla. When I received my order the lady handed me a chocolate dirt cup. I told her “maam this is supposed to be vanilla can I please get it remade” you would have thought I told her something awful. She had such an attitude told me they don’t make that in vanilla and if I get it changed she will have to throw it away and it’s gonna come out of her pocket. I literally had to ask her multiple times to change it out because I ordered vanilla at the front window. Everything in my order was vanilla.. Just honestly plain disrespectful. I told her if I could get her name and she yelled at me “what for” and I told her “so I can write a review?”. The other young Spanish girl from the back came out and asked me again if vanilla is what I ordered to begin with and I told her again yes.
