Buffalo Wild Wings — Restaurant in Panama City Beach

We've always enjoyed the food, but the waitstaff and "hostesses" are the absolute worst anywhere, the pits. What they lack in pitifully bad, apathetic, & incompetent service they make up for with abject unfriendliness bordering on hostility. I know businesses have had a hard time hiring good staff, but these people bust the curve. I especially despise servers whose only talent seems to be finding every way possible way to say "NO" to customer requests. Example: last time my wife and I were there I noticed the single cheeseburger was no longer on the menu, only the double. I ask if I can just get the single one, only to be rudely told "I'll have to charge you for the double one." That was just the start- we had to ask numerous times for water refills and other simple requests, some of which we finally gave up on. It would probably kill one of these misfits if they ever smiled. It was also obvious she was trying to hurry us out of there, which wasn't happening because we were watching an NFL playoff game. Anything we asked for that she WAS decent enough to bring she would just throw on the table and stalk away with a p/o'd look on her mug. This maladjusted horror would not work for me long enough for the water to boil. Also, and I realize it's a sports bar, could they not have one of their numerous do-nothing employees clean the restrooms at least once a month or more? They're the filthiest I've ever seen in any public venue. And good luck ordering food to go- your chances of it being right the first or second time are virtually nil. I don't get why, despite the difficulty finding anyone in this area who has a grain of work ethic, they can't find at least a few who don't do all they can to run off customers. In fact, running folks off seems to be their only talent. To be clear, there are probably some servers who aren't this way, but we haven't seen them, and we've had some in the past who were good, but they aren't there now. OK, so if I'm reading this review, my question is "why do you keep coming back for this abuse?" It's the food, which we love despite the fact you need to check your frustration and rage at the door, plus the fact they are one of the few places I've found that has Guinness draft. But, unfortunately, the abysmal service and filthiness of this place have reached such a level of unacceptable that the food can barely compensate for. We have struggled to remain customers due to only the food, but it's difficult to enjoy it when your stomach is tied in knots from having to fight for everything you get and being frustrated...

An absolutely miserable and disgraceful experience at the Panama City Beach, FL location. I was with a table of five for dinner. We met promptly at 6pm. We ordered one a round of drinks and our server Trevor, I believe was his name, brought the drinks and tended to two other tables. At one point I wanted another beer. No Trevor. I asked the bartender when he was walking by if I could get another drink. His response was Trevor would get it. Trevor did not. Finally after approximately 30 min, Trevor returned to the table to take our food orders and my additional beer order. One hour after our initial drinks were served, not one food item had been served. I went up to Trevor while he was waiting on another table and said we had been here one hour and there is no food on the table. His response “you only ordered 15 minutes ago”. We ordered when he had finally returned to the table. He was unhelpful and defensive. But not as much as the bartender who refused earlier to get me a drink. This bartender came into the conversation with Trevor and took offense when I said they were incapable of providing food after one hour from our arrival. He asked me my age! I’m 70. He said I was acting like a child and he could kick me out of the restaurant. Another server chimed and said if we left we still had to pay for our food. Were we being held hostage? I have NEVER experienced such inept servers. I have NEVER experienced servers who treat a customer with such disrespect and hostility. I left. I guess the rest of my party stayed. I’m shocked at the caliber of employees at this restaurant. They obviously think they are better than the customers and customers better not complain for waiting for food over an hour. Never again will I go to this restaurant or any other in this chain. The total lack of professionalism and concern for unhappy customers was incredible. Stay away at any cost. I have gone to 2 other different locations before. I was excited to find one here on vacation. Since no else in the family had been, we decided to bring the family. (Party of 7)We walk in and ask for a table just for the greater to guff around in front of us before figuring out where to sit us. When we sit down the waitress told us her name and the person she was training. One of the appetizers I asked for was the pretzels and she just ignores me and told me to look at the menu again. Never got them nor where they on the receipt. Okay, I just let it be trying to have a good time. Every one got there drink except my son before she left I ask for an alcoholic beverage. Didn't get by drink until 20 minutes later. Everyone gets there food except me saying it's going to be 5 minutes I completely understand but it was more like 10 or more cause everyone was about done eating. When I finally get my food I ask for another beverage. By the time we got our receipt I still haven't gotten my drink. So I looked at the receipt and see I was charged for fries I didn't receive with my meal and another beverage I never got either. I politely explain I never received these items and I would like for them to be taken off. The waitress argued that the fries i was being charged for were the ones my husband receive with his meal so it was correct. I pointed out that yes I understand but I was also charged for it along with another drink that I never received but was charged for it. While I pointed at the table.
