Waffle House — Restaurant in Panama City Beach

We eat at Waffle House often at home in Charlotte, NC...but i have to say this place was the FASTEST one we have ever been to. They have a nice little waiting area with chairs to wait if you need to. We waited not even 2 minutes. We were quickly seated. The two cooks that were there on 7/28 were SUPER fast.. that guys was cooking so fast i lost track of what he was cooking lol.. SO FAST! we got a food quickly! The waffle was adorable with a WAFFLE HOUSE imprint on it. We had never seen that before. My only complaint was out waitress could have been a little more personable. She acted as though my husband couldn’t order for himself asking my daughter “ and for him?” I thought that was very rude of her and she never smiled. Maybe she was having a bad day. The hostest was super nice.. this one couple came in and tried to skip the line and went and sat at a table she quickly apologize to them and told them there was a line and if they could please wait in line. They apologized and kindly went and waited. (That could have went a different way). Happy with overall experience, again do not get intimidated by the line if there is one. It goes super fast. Dont think anyone waited for than 4-5 mins for a table! Kudos to these cooks and the hostess that was working Saturday 7/28 morning around 9...

I visited Waffle House today after the snowstorm hit Florida, and I have to say, it was such a pleasant experience. With every other business closed, Waffle House was the only place open, and I’m so glad we decided to go!

From the moment we walked in, the store manager greeted us warmly and quickly sat us at a clean bar. Even though the restaurant was extremely busy due to the circumstances, every single employee had a positive attitude and worked seamlessly together. The service was quick, and it was clear the team was doing everything they could to keep things running smoothly, so huge kudos to the manager for keeping everything on track!

Despite the limited menu due to the storm, the food was delicious, and it really hit the spot after not being able to go to the grocery store or any other restaurant. We were so grateful for the warm meal and great service!

The worst experience ever. The waiting staff cursed in front of my children, my sever was rude, our food was burnt, my daughter had to wait an extra 10mins for her food and when it came out they had not cooked her hash browns, I spoke to the manager he was a joke himself. Made the comment " we get a little unprofessional sometimes because we get so busy " the restaurant wasn't ever halfway full! I told him I was a server for years no excuse. After speaking with a manager I was harassed by a girl who worked there but wasn't even my server about what happen from across the restaurant while she ate her food . He rudely said he would take care of my bill yet made ZERO corrections. Such a POOR LEADER. You can't just comp food and not make corrections or you will be comping food all the time.
