Los Robles Cafe — Restaurant in Paso Robles

First time eating at this restaurant and I order the menudo. I was very excited to try it when I spot hairs in it so I get the waitress attention and tell her what the issue is. She tells me it’s perfectly fine all menudo has hair in it which is NOT true. When you do a poor job of washing the meat it will definitely have hairs. So I set it aside and figure I won’t be paying for the hairy menudo. I ask for the check and she wants to charge me for both hairy menudo’s. I try to plead my case but the lady tells me I should have said something when I had clearly told her that BOTH bowls had hairs in them. I wish I would had taken a picture of the menudo’s. The meat smelled foul like if it wasn’t washed correctly and the hairs were just the icing on top. NEVER WILL EAT HERE AGAIN!!! I’ll also make sure people I know won’t eat there again. Stopped here to pick up food one morning to go. We had ordered ahead over the phone no problem. When we picked the food up, we noticed they had gluten free muffin options, so we added one of those and 2 iced coffees on. The food was awesome! My bf and I had scrambles, two people I were with got the burrito and it look amaaaazing. The muffin was warmed up for us without asking and it was delicious. I give 4 stars instead of 5 bc the girl helping us wasn't very nice and seemed extremely uniterested, and there were only 3 creamers out to put in our coffees, and everyone was so busy you couldn't get anyone's attention to ask for more. Food was good but the price was expensive. Got charged for coffee refills, super tiny coffee cups, my only refill for me it was at half. The restaurant doesnt feel like a restaurant where they should charge like that. (I come from chicago so i know what to expect from restaurants that charge like this one). But the food was good tasting. To top it off, the Owner or manager was yelling at one of the waitress in front of everyone. Not behavior from the price point this restaurant is.
