RIP to Dennis Brown, 46, and Sarah Katz, 21. (Pictured) 🙏🏽🕊 Prayers for their loved ones. I'm actually still at this location enjoying myself. There was a time when I let the behavior of staff turn me off from my favorite restaurants/establishments. Not any more. Now I realize that's just ruining my own joy. So, especially with the utilization of reviews, I decided that wasn't the best way to handle it. I enjoy Panera. and staff with bad CS, attitudes, and/or habits won't ruin that for me. Which brings me here today. I stepped into this particular location that I recently found and have come to enjoy. Going to the men's room, I immediately noticed the floor was very wet. Almost soaked. I actually looked back because I thought I was in such a rush that I missed the "Wet Floor" sign. I thought I was tripping because what establishment in 2024 is going to have that much water on their floor with no warnings posted? That's Liability 101. I eventually politely informed a team member that the floor was soaked, a wet floor sign was right there, and that they may want to consider using it since it would be very unfortunate if someone got hurt. (It was the little girl in the picture.) Minutes later, after she looked at me like I wasn't there, the shift manager walked out of the bathroom, and I politely told him the same thing and that his employee didnt seem to give a damn. Emphasis on the wet floor sign literally being inches from us and no need for anyone to get hurt. He looked at me like he was lost and said, "Ok." I went on to use the restroom. (Only one is working, and he was in it) While inside, I told myself I'm going to record my walk out, and if there's still no wet floor sign, I'm leaving this review. That's how we got here. Panera Bread is frequented by various classes of people. Including many elderly people who aren't as stable as they once were. The utter lack of concern, not only the little girl but also the team leader, had for the safety of their/Panera's patrons actually infuriates me. Someone could seriously have gotten hurt. This is customer service 101. Not even customer service alone, but also a frontline company defense against liability. Especially unnecessary liability. I'll be back later to edit this with the shift leaders name, Lord willing, but I hope whoever reads this acknowledges that this behavior and inaction is unspeakably unacceptable. I hope a proper course of corrective action is taken to address what clearly is some foundational misunderstandings about standards & best practices in the service industry. Because trust, me leaving this review is a hell of a lot better than one of your customers getting seriously hurt. Or one of your customers even pretending to and tying you up in settlement driven litigation. When any of your 2 informed employees could have simply grabbed the sign (the one they instead used to stop your patrons from using the trash bin) and placed it on the floor as a warning for the paying patrons who keep them employed. The video would only post 30 seconds. It's a little over 1 minute. I'll be uploading that on my socials, Lord willing. You can clearly see the details of what I mentioned in the media. This isn't going to ruin my experience or my love for Panera. I'm a lifer. Hopefully, this will be addressed properly. Also, it would be great if the outside chairs didn't rock. Maybe someone could check the legs one day. Great location. Great atmosphere. And until today, every employee has been exceptionally kind, polite, and memorable. Even the shift leader previously. The "2" rating is because with the 2 national tragedies Panera has been recently involved in, the idea that any team member at any location wasn't well versed in prioritizing customer safety, and instead so dismissive about it, is actually unthinkable as well. I'd think the last thing management would want is to have any more innocent lives or public scandal tied to company irresponsibility.

Well, I come to a panera bread and most places have a microwave, or like this place, they would warm up your food if you don't want to eat or like cold food. Myself I like the pecan bread, my wife likes the bear claw and we get bagels from here all the time. If a Panera bread has a microwave, I will stick it in for ten seconds or so it softens it up and makes it warm. Most of the time, they are pretty cold and hard at times. It's not like they're giving it away, so whats the big deal . So, I asked today because they don't have a microwave to please warm up my food. Other places do this with a smile, I got a flat out, No, my manager says we're not allowed to do this anymore. Why? Customer service seems to be out the window these days, and it seems like no one cares anymore, business is doing so well they they can have a smug addatude and a take it or leave it response, They are doing so well that they can turn around and basically say screw off. We just don't care, Whatever happened to customer service? We'll, I guess, it's waiting somewhere else. Although there's a steady trickle of people coming in, they're not as busy as they used to be, and now I see why. You would think they want to keep a customer happy. The manager Diana was no were to be found and I don't know if she was even telling me the truth. At the same time, there's a customer complaining that the coffee's were all empty, this has also happened to me several times and I wonder how could this possibly be something that every time I come here, one or two of the coffee pots are always empty, especially in the morning rush. SMH With the thousands of restaurants closing and the high prices, every dollar and every customer counts.

Ugly salad, ugly service. My daughter talked me into Panera for dinner last night (pick up). Since I’m watching calories (after too much indulgence on my working “vacation”) she had to twist my arm. I relented & ordered my favorite Panera menu item. The picture is the Green Goddess Salad I received when I got home. The service standard is that Chicken comes on the salad and when this is your one meal for the day (supplementing two protein shakes) you REALLY want the Chicken 😂 - especially if you’re passing on their delish bread... No, I wasn’t laughing last night. I called the restaurant 3 times & was disconnected each. My daughter told me to forget it, but, after being employed in this industry for a decade, I know that the management needs to know if there are errors in the kitchen. Anyway… on ring four Star answered & she seriously asked me a ridiculous question before passing me to manager. After getting the Manager Jessica on the phone she apologized & offered to remake or refund which was fair. However, after being a patron of this store (probably 50 orders in, at least, over the last decade) I can say with no fear of future contradiction they have probably a 30% error rate on our family orders. I have quit frequenting this location because of their poor performance. 🥲 Also, prices for bakery/deli items are too high for repeating, inconvenient errors. If I’m paying an average $100.+ for a family deli “to-go” order, it needs to be correct. (Her 2 cups of macaroni, one soup & one salad was $46. last night.) Suggestion: On “to-go” check your order accuracy when picking up before you leave. On Uber/delivery pick a different store location.

Let me first start out by saying that I wanted to share this specifically with the company however I could not find a location to do so on the website.

I love the customer service and food at Panera Bread. I mostly visit this location because it is closest to home, however the past 2 days has been the worst experience I have ever had at this location in over a year. I first went in yesterday night 01/17/2017, only one cashier was working and for some reason the receipt printer wasn't working fast. I was the 2nd in line and it took over 10 mins just to place my order. after finally ordering it took almost another 15 -18 mins to receive my food. While waiting by the counter about 4 employees just walked back and forth some stopped to talk what they had planned to do after work while others just stood off to the side and laughing and talking.

I asked myself where is the manager why is no one saying anything about the lack of service. I finally got my food and after walking out I said that I would write this review when I got home. I however after thinking about it said maybe it was just one of those days, even though that is not an excuse when it comes to business and customer service. Trust me I know. I am a multi-unit director for a Franchise so customer service is near and dear to my heart in fact it’s what we are all about.

Today 01/18/2017 I visit the again at night hoping for the best, I walked in one cashier working I was next in line the receipt printer seemed to be working ok. I got my order in in less than 3 minutes all is well. So, I thought. As I am receiving my pastry a young lady by the name of Rona walked over and said I’m sorry we are out of the bread that makes your sandwich. I was not happy so I asked was there another bread that could be substituted for my chicken Frontega sandwich she said sure I said perfect let’s do it.

I took my pastry and walked over to the kitchen area to wait on my order. Sure enough as the night prior the same unprofessional behavior was happening with people hanging out not doing anything chatting and laughing about 3 people. Rona made my sandwich she was very busy always working very polite and nice Alyssa spoke to me a couple times one of which was another disappointment. She told me that the same bread that would have made my frontega sandwich is the same bread that usually goes with my soup and they are out of it. So, my choices were apple or chips. I said could I just get a replacement bread, she said no unfortunately they didn’t have any more sliced. I said but I’m already getting chips with my sandwich so I would end up with double chips she said yes, so at this point I was already frustrated so I just took the extra chips.

Alyssa was also very busy and kind, however while she was packing my bag with food here comes a gentleman by the name of Alex playing around and dancing and then says it’s time to go home while myself and others stood right at the counter Alyssa turned to him and said you still have 10 more minutes to work find something to do instead of just standing around. As I take my bag both Alyssa and Rona apologizes again and said goodnight I guess they saw the unhappiness on my face. That was a mouth full but I think that the owners of this franchise should be aware of what is really happening in the establishment. You will lose business if something is not corrected. I hope to see a...

Food is always up to par. However whoever is taking orders this morning on November 29, 2022 around 0715 AM for the drive through is definitely having a bad day and was very rude. She started the conversation by asking me if I had a Panera card and I replied yes. She then, while speaking very fast, asked to take the order and then to give my phone number after taking the order. Unfortunately, at first, I did not catch what she said and assumed that she asked for the number first, because the other people would usually ask for my number first and then take my order. She then rudely yelled, I will take your number after the order! I was taken aback and just replied with a long okayyyy because realistically after working a 12 hr shift who wants to get yelled at by a misbehaved toddler (because she definitely acted like one). I’m going to assume that she did not want to face me out of embarrassment because The person that handed me the food was nice. Unless it was the same person and she quickly changed her tone at the window and suddenly became nice. Nevertheless because of this rude individual, my demeanor changed. Definitely need to learn some manners and if a customer did not understand your dialect or your talking at a speed of a million, the proper thing to do is to take the number down regardless of if YOUR instruction was to take the number after the order. Or maybe next time, just take the order first and then ask for the phone number after taking the order, like any normal individual would do.
