Schmear Bagel Parlor — Restaurant in Philadelphia

Horrible customer service. Firstly, they don't have a phone number (like wow). I ordered food through cumbersome website because they're not in DOORDASH app. They food never got to me. Now who was I going to reach out to? I have no details of the person delivering and I can't reach out to this place either. I tried calling their other branch and they were impolite and told me it's 3rd party delivery and they can't help us. Why is it in your website then? Have DOORDASH then if you want to shift accountability to the 3rd party. There is no option to get a refund or voice my grievance on the website.

Absolutely not recommend this place to anyone.

Update: Someone from the store reached out to me. They were kind enough to explain that perhaps the delivery person stole the food and offered me a refund. I appreciate them for this and David on the call was very polite...

Had the worst experience at this place two times. The first time I thought the service was terrible but I gave it another shot. The second time I went there. The service was even more horrible. The wait time is unbearable. You will wait at this place forever And when you get the food the order will be wrong. I waited so long today that I just left without receiving my order.... After returning it from being wrong the first time. There are a lot better places to go in the city with better service. You will wait literally 27 minutes for a sandwich. The two employees constantly talk to each other and not work what customers are waiting in long lines. The long lines you see at that place are not because the food is good.... The long lines are there because the service is very very bad and the wait times are unbelievable.

I am a huge fan of Philly Bagel, particularly the Locust location. Rob and the team there always provide top-notch customer service. Rob, in particular, is incredibly pleasant and goes out of his way to ensure each customer has a great experience.

The bagels are always fresh and delicious, which is why I choose to walk the extra distance from my office near the JFK location. Rob often suggests different items for me to try, and I appreciate his recommendations that help me discover new favorites.

I also appreciate the punctuality and reliability of the team; they are always open on time, which is a big plus for those of us on a tight schedule. Thanks, Rob and Philly Bagel, for making every...
