I’m giving it three starts because it’s always delicious and only today did we have a problem. The island didn’t have very many guests tonight. We went into the ice cream shop and were the only guests in there. The employee was talking with someone at the back ( not a customer) They both looked at us like we had ruined their conversation. No one said hello. The employee walked over and said “what would you like” My husband asked if my daughter could try the fruity pebbles ice cream and he blew his breath. After tasting that flavor we ordered a few scoops. When paying my husband went to reach for his wallet and when he started counting out his cash the employee rolled his eyes and blew his breath again. It’s kind of a let down to be treated like a nuisance when we came to the island specifically for ice cream. I work in customer service and I always try to be mindful of being a good customer wherever I go, but there was just no reason for this person to treat my family...
Read moreMy son wanted ice cream after dancing in a competition at the convention center. We decided to try something new, even though he doesn't like to change up the flavors (strawberry, chocolate or vanilla) of ice cream he gets.
I'm working on him becoming independent and not needing me to do NEW things with him. He he has dyslexia and social anxiety, so hates new places. However, he wanted ice cream so he took on the challenge to make the purchase by himself.

Let's just say, I knew not to ask for a taste 😜 Every bite took away all the anxiety he had prior to going into the store. Which goes to show this ice cream not only taste, but makes...
Read moreIsland Creamery is a perfect spot to cool off on a hot day! The ice cream was delicious and the portion sizes were generous, a single scoop was more than enough and priced reasonably.
We tried six different flavors and not a single complaint from our group. I had the coffee ice cream, and it hit the spot, creamy, rich, and not overly sweet. My husband had the vanilla and said it was one of the best classic vanillas he’s had. My son devoured his mint chocolate chip, and my daughter was obsessed with her strawberry, especially the fun pink color.
Service was quick and efficient, which we appreciated with kids in tow. The only downside was that shaded seating is pretty limited. If you don’t mind a bit of sun, the chairs around the fountain are a nice spot to sit and enjoy your treat.
Overall, a great local ice cream stop we’d...
