Food = 5 Star Service = 5 Star Ambiance = 2.5 I ordered their TN Whisky Glazed Burger and wife ordered a Strawberry Salad and added Grilled Chicken plus Smoked Lobster & Crab Bisque Soup. First the Whiskey Burger is in my Top 5 Burgers ever, I haven't stopped thinking about it! It was a medium thick burger that was ground fresh. I ordered it Medium Well and it came absolutely PERFECT! Even though it wasn't a Smashburger it had the sear with the perfect crust on the outside like a Smashburger. The onion rings were good, I am not sure if they were homemade in the restaurant because the breading was perfect. In any event, I recommend them. I was between the Fish and Chips and the Burger. The waiter said that I "must" try the burger. It was his all time favorite. He was absolutely correct. We also ordered the Fried Deviled Eggs. I never saw Fried before and had to try them. The egg portion was very lightly breaded and then deep fried. The taste was OK but the texture was very strange. In fact, I think the texture really impacted the taste. I am happy that I tried them just to say I did but I wouldn't order them again. Wife's Soup and Salad was exceptional too, she said that it was a repeat if we went back...that's a great review for her. I didn't try it because I liked my burger so much, I didn't want to taste anything else! The waiter recommended the White Chocolate Bread Pudding and again he was correct. It definitely was the best white chocolate desert that we ever had. I was so full with the Burger, but I couldn't stop eating the dessert. Again...this is a MUST TRY! The only bad thing was the Ambiance, the restaurant is clean, very nice and surprisingly large. They had TVs with sporting events and was a fun environment. Now...the bad, the floor is carpeted!! The smell between the grill, and left over spilled beer/food was almost unbearable when we walked in. To be honest, I asked my wife if she wanted to leave before we ordered. I am happy she said no and we did get used to the smell. My problem is why in the world would any restaurant that has a grill, beer and a lot of foot traffic have carpet? I admit that it was clean but that isn't the point. I mean even even our waiter used a broom to clean the floor after the large corner booth that was next to us left. They had kids that left food on the floor. It isn't the cleanliness it is the smell of the grill and spilled beer/drinks. Come on Management...get with it. I would have rated it a 3 but the Service pushed it to a 4. The food is fantastic and service deserves a more appealing environment, get rid of the carpet! PS...Kentucky Bourbon Barrell Ale is one of my favorites. It is difficult to find in Florida, so when I see it on the menu, I order it!

It was a very busy Thursday evening, and had to wait 45 minutes to be seated, which we agreed to, as we had selected it based on the raving online reviews and their interesting-looking menu. Our server was polite and friendly. I had the Bloody Mary, which was spicy enough, but light and a bit watered down, and husband had an IPA, which he liked. The pickles (gherkin, okra, and onion) in the Bloody Mary were delicious, but there were no olives. We had 2 appetizers, the fondue and stuffed peppers with cheese. We were not crazy about the cheese fondue or bread, which tasted the same as the bun without the crust( I'd prefer rustic "baguette" type of bread with a bit of crunchy crust). The stuffed peppers were delicious; roasted and peeled with a white creamy cheese filling ( with a subtle goat cheese flavor), a nice balsamic glaze and freshly chopped basil that complemented the flavors. Our 4 entrees were all different burgers. The meat was tender and very juicy, and cooked accordingly. The bun was very good, too. I got the BGL burger with the bacon jam, which neither I nor my 18 year old son who is a foodie and wanted to try it, could taste it or "see" it. Everyone else ate all their fries which were fresh ( not frozen) and thinly cut, but I didn't enjoy them as mine were limp and not piping hot as I like them. The server and staff were all very friendly and accommodating. They truly went above and beyond, as I had an issue with the temperature of the burger, which had gone too cold for me when it arrived. The server who came by the table to ask if we liked our burgers, immediately offered to take it back to the kitchen and they made me a new one 👌, which was very professional of them. I felt that the staff really cared and made sure that the meal was enjoyable. In terms of the atmosphere, it was ok, the decor was very simple, nothing fancy, with an enormous TV (sports channel) in a very large open dining area. It was an "American" experience, which I would recommend if you are looking for such. I don't regret it, but I prefer something more quaint and cozy. Having said that, everyone else in our party enjoyed their meal and would come back. Next time, I'll try something else on the menu; they certainly have a large variety. We paid about $130 for 1 coke, 1 Bloody Mary, 1 IPA, 2 appetizers and 4 burgers.

Incredible! 10 STARS! Come to the goat for the food and stay for the atmosphere. A lot of tourists that come through this area seem to think that the goat was named “local” because it’s supposedly a locals only hang out. Not the case at all. But, if you and yours are planning a trip through the Sevierville/ Pigeon Forge area, DO NOT PASS this place up! 🐐Our server, Maria, was very knowledgeable and excited to help us. She was very efficient and super friendly from the get go. Most of the staff seem to have the same motivation and friendly demeanor. 🐐Goat Cheese! I’m not a huge fan of goat derived products, but the goat cheese is fresh and authentic. They might actually make it in the restaurant, it is that fresh. 🐐They have a HUGE variety of appetizers, entrees and desserts on the menu. Most of the food is pretty mainstream American cuisine but the odd ball food is what really makes this place stand out. 🐐The food is all fresh and made to order. It’s absolutely delicious, to say the least and the entrees are huge. I almost feel like their Kitchen staff and Chef’s are trained and certified just for the purpose of working at the goat. 🐐They have COKE ZERO! 🐐The full service bar has a huge variety of beers and liqours and of course mixed drinks. The bar tenders are efficient and friendly and will make just about any booze imaginable. 🐐Make reservations, they do accept them! There’s a reason the normal wait time can exceed and hour. This is probably the only bad thing about this place but then again, their popularity is just more evidence of how delicious and awesome the goat has become. 🐐The prices are middle of the road compared to any other upscale restaurants around the same areas. But it is absolutely worth the money and you get what you pay for here. The Local Goat is a MUST for anyone coming through the area. It’s upscale American cuisine at it’s best, patrons will not be disappointed. Make reservations, try the appetizers, get an entree and make sure to save room for the bread pudding!
