Each time I’ve been in since they opened has been delightful and consistent. Their food is fresh and generous, creative and balanced, and the people are so very kind. Part of me wants to gush about the details of their dishes but I think that words don’t reflect how on point their ingredients are. The desserts were well balanced in richness and sweetness but also refreshing and light. And who doesn’t love a healthy portion? The chocolate sauce on the waffle was literally perfection… not too thick, not overly sweet or overpowering of the fruit, perfectly complimentary to the entire plate. Plus the perfectly crisped waffle… oh boy.
The house aioli is sooo good too. I tried a bit from my partners breakfast and I loved the dynamic of the light refreshing feeling and taste followed by a subtle heat. So good! He said it went really well with his sandwich.
$30 for 2 Americanos and two fresh meals before tip can’t be beat for breakfast in PDX.
The sum of it all: The coffee, strong. The service, impeccable. The environment, uplifting. The food, decadent!

Read moreDon't sleep on Eggs and Co! I decided to stop by and have a bit of a feast to try some bits on the menu. For me, the standout was the buttermilk waffle, which is so good it could be served plain, but don't worry it's served with berries, chocolate sauce, whipped cream and syrup just in case you need to sweeten it up a bit. It's perfectly crispy on the outside and fluffy and moist on the inside. The sandwiches which I tried the #1 (classic bacon, egg, chedder) and #4 (veggie with zucchini, tomato, shredded cabbage, basil pesto and havarti) were both great. I had a doppio espresso and it was perfectly fine, medium bodied, slightly sweet, defiantly not a darker roast. The photos here are the half size! Speaking to the staff they have taken quite a bit of time to source their breads from different suppliers, the milk bread used for the Korean style sandwitches looks great but I wasn't able to try those...
Read moreThis place is amazing. I only moved up to Portland like a month ago, but this has become my favorite breakfast spot and I’ve been coming here once a week.
The regular breakfast sandwich is great, it’s served with sliced banana peppers on the side and an aioli on the sandwich. I enjoy just eating banana peppers so it’s fun that they’re on the side. They also have the jalapeño and poblano cholula, which is my favorite cholula and I’ve never seen anything but the regular cholula at places. Also the “coffee milk” is fantastic. It’s fairly sweet, but it’s very tasty and creamy for a coffee.
I keep telling people to try it and no one’s taken me up on it yet, so if you’re reading this right now and you need breakfast, you should come here and...
