Some of the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced & I won’t be returning. There were 6 people working that were close by & not a one smiled or acknowledged us. It was like working there had sucked the joy right out of them. The staff or BWag needs to come see me or other crew at Trader Joe’s on 24th in Bellevue so they can see what great customer service & customer experience looks like even if you have to wait & especially if something isn’t right. I thought going there & picking out cookies would be fun with my grandson who’s autistic. No one greeted us & we had to figure out on our own to order at the kiosk. I ordered a box of 4, and a single pink sugar cookie that was my grandson’s own box, & then another individual pink sugar cookie that he really really wanted to get to give to his mom. His mom was meeting us there to pick him up, so the two sugar cookies my grandson picked were going with her & my box of 4 were going home with me. We had to wait quite a bit & then there was only one small box so I said I had the box of 4 and two individual & after checking the staff said no I didn’t & they had put the other sugar cookie into the box of 4. I didn’t want to argue because we had already waited so I asked for a box to take the sugar cookie out & put it in for my grandson & his mom. She checked with someone else & then said yes but I had to pay for it. I said ok, I’ll pay but my daughter said I’ll pay mom but when she tried we were told since it was under a dollar we couldn’t pay with a card. So I said no problem I’ll pay with cash. In my head I’m thinking wow this is crazy since they got my order wrong & really don’t want me to have a box!!! I told the girl at the register wow you guys really seem to enjoy working here (sarcastically but in a very nice way) & she agreed with me! When I got the box I said thank you & she turned & walked away. No thank you for coming, have a nice day…nothing. Then we had to go outside, put the box together ourselves, get the sugar cookie out of my box of 4 to give to my daughter because that was super important to my grandson. It was from him to her that he picked out. And my daughter is then apologizing to me for the way I was treated! It’s sad really because I have 5 grandkids & would’ve liked to have taken each one to pick out...
Read moreA perfect place for the type who drives a BMW, Mercedes, or Jaguar as a commuter car, mainly because that's what people with money to waste do to show off how much money they have, Crumbl offers a posh looking environment where you get to pay a ridiculous price ($5 each) for an "ok" brownie or cookie, while undergoing a ridiculously complicated process to order it. While some silly outdated places let you walk up to a person, tell them the sugary treats you want, pay them, and walk out with said treats, Crumbl entertains you with an overly complicated process where you are encouraged to place your order on a confusing touchscreen, with what some might consider a fairly counterintuitive user interface. Then you wait for someone to put your treats in boxes, and call your name. Oh, and there is a very small area for the line to the two touchscreens, which makes traffic flow incredibly confusing whenever there are a few people there. The only outstanding part of the experience for me was that the staff member who helped me was quite pleasant and helpful. So Crumbl is perfect for that person who has time and money to waste on mediocre stuff, just to remind yourself you have money to waste, while contributing to inflation by reinforcing companies' insatiable thirst for raising prices! In other words, I'm not sure what this place offers over even your local bargain grocery store's bakery section, and it's a helluva lot cheaper... My first visit will...
Read moreI had a very disappointing experience with Crumbl. I placed two separate orders, both of which I expected to pick up from the Covington location. When I arrived, they only had one order. I then realized that after placing the first order, the app had switched my pickup location to Renton without me noticing.
The manager at Covington was kind and advised me to call the Renton location to cancel and request a refund. I called around 10:40 and spoke with a woman who immediately dismissed my situation, saying “boo hoo” and that there was nothing she could do since it was “human error.” She told me I would either have to drive to Renton or just “learn to take the loss.”
When I asked to speak with a manager, she claimed she was the manager. I then asked to speak with someone above her because her tone was becoming rude and unprofessional. She refused to give her name and told me to contact corporate before abruptly hanging up.
Crumbl cookies are tasty but pretty standard, what really sets a location apart is the customer service. Unfortunately, this experience left a bad impression. I hope this employee is reminded of the importance of treating customers with basic...
