I went into this Subway location placed my order and when I went to pay for my food I took my $20 bill out of my wallet and it ripped into 2 pieces right in front of the cashier she proceeded to shake her head at me and say no I said what do you mean no and she refused to take my money because it ripped even though she saw it rip in my hand I asked to speak to the manager so she called and the manager and was told to take my money and as I'm standing there she's just chatting on the phone with the manager for like 5 more minutes and I said can you just bring me up so I can go cuz I needed to eat before a certain time and because I asked to be rung up instead of list sitting there waiting for them to have this conversation on the phone then was told that no now she won't take my money and she still refused I have never dealt with this before where somebody won't take your bill that ripped right in front of you is this a new thing cuz if if it is then Subway is got issues I was so upset because I was going in for surgery and I couldn't eat anything after 10 and this was at 9:30 so this was going to be the last thing I could eat before I couldn't eat for another probably 12 to 14 hours and by the time I got done dealing with her I missed my time to eat for the last time before my surgery so at Subway you obviously can't accidentally rip your bill cuz they won't serve you or ask to be rung up in a timely manner while the manager and then place it on the phone and gossip in front of you and laugh then you won't get your food either Subway when did you give your employees the right to to make the decision of what currency they will and will not take the US currency both the manager and the employee need to retake your customer service classes it was extremely rude and not very customer...
Read moreThe food is fine - it's subway food, and I've never had an issue with it. My issue is with the service. There are a lot of workers here who do not speak much english - and that's totally fine! They're always the most helpful and kind employees!
The issue is with the one white young man, with curly hair, who works here, who has the worst customer service skills I have ever experienced. On 3/8, I had put in an online order, but due to some technical issues, it never showed up. I didn't know they hadn't received it, and the young man just kept repeating to me "Let me know when you're ready to order" in a rude and condescending manner. I repeated multiple times that I had put in an online order, and that's all he kept responding with. He never told me "We don't see it, can I see your app?" or "I don't have it - can you show me your app?" or anything of the sort. He just kept repeating "Let me know when you're ready to order", without any other commentary.
The employee with him was much more helpful and called someone on the phone (manager? owner? not sure), to help sort it out. She was great, but the young white guy that works here was probably the worst encounter I've ever had at a subway. Needless to say, I'll be going to other locations...
Read moreI'd give give them zero stars really. Was out of town and ordered two footlongs online from this subway. Got back to hotel and one of the footlongs was missing the meat, the mozzarella, and the avocado spread (I ordered the Cali Fresh Turkey). Called three times, no answer, 4th time, a young lady answers the phone and I said can I speak to a mgr. please? She said, no there's no mgr. here, can I take a msg? I said no, and then I described my issue and she handed the phone to someone else. I described my issue and the other woman, who I presume is a shift lead or something like that..and said a new staff person is here and she was probably busy and that's why my sandwich was messed up. The woman said, "can you bring in your sandwich, so I can show the other person? At that exact moment, I knew she thought I was lying. Like who in the heck asks for a footlong sandwich back with only the veggies back, when they are the ones who messed this up. Now, not only do I have no dinner, but I have to drive all the way back, not only to give them their sandwich back, but my money as well. I will NEVER be back to this location. DO NOT GO...
