Places like Locked Barrel puts Sacramento on the map. It used to be that I had to travel to the Bay Area to get the service, the ambiance, the quality of drinks and food. Love love love this place. Learning about the different whiskeys is so easy when you have knowledgeable staff to learn from who are quite patient as well as attentive.

This was a really unique, well run, and very friendly establishment. The owner, Jason, personally stopped by our table 3-4 times to see how we liked our whiskeys and if we were enjoying ourselves.
