As a customer I observed very unprofessional behavior and poor leadership from the owner. There was fault on my side admittedly, however, the situation was handled in a way that did not have to escalate in the way it ensued.

The event which transpired was not of severity equivocal to the reaction acquired. It is understandable that individuals may experience days emotionally insurmountable to them leading to diffuse behavior. However, it does not necessitate certain behavior.

The individual, who I presume is the business owner, was very aggressive and physically intrusive. He stood 1-2 feet of where I was sitting and raised his voice while using obtrusive and volatile language. His voice was inherently loud enough to be heard from the inside of the coffee shop. He continued to berate my friend and I until he finally decided to walk away while shouting an explicit statement. Then on, my friend and I decided to leave as the situation which transpired left us feeling uncomfortable.

However, the coffee and product/s were of great quality and taste. Additionally, the charitable cause of the organization is one to admire, albeit, unprofessional behavior and...

Good organic coffee, fair trade. Not as affordable as your "gourmet" grocery store coffee (Starbucks, Peets, etc) but I'm willing to pay a premium to know that the farmers aren't getting stiffed. Most of their beans run from $14 to $18 a pound, light to dark roast, and they have a few decaf options.

Not a coffee shop - they only sell beans and coffee accessories (grinders, french presses, etc). Warehouse setting, it looks like they do all their roasting and packaging on premises, but I haven't clarified. They do have pre-packaged beans available, but it's a better deal to fill a bag yourself - I think the pre-packaged beans are only 10 oz but cost as much as a pound of the bulk coffee. They also have half pound bags which is nice if you don't want to commit to a whole pound of something you've never...

Great staff they always treat me right but as of recently I can’t help but feel like their quality has gone down. I’ve been here a few times this past month after a few months of going elsewhere for coffee and I have not had a decent shot of espresso pulled. All I’m tasting is burnt beans which is not a good sign. I love everything that this business stands for but when I’m paying what I do for a cup of coffee, I expect quality. I was a regular here for quite a while during the pandemic to the point that my friends and I joke that we kept them afloat with how frequently we came to this coffee shop so I know that they have the ability to do better. I just ordered an iced mocha and there’s chunks of cacao powder in my drink, I don’t have this issue at any other cafe that I order iced...

I wanna love this place because of all they stand for and their relationship with coffee farmers. I've tried the coffee recently, bought some at Nuggets grocery store and it was okay. Nothing really special and packed flavor. Super bland. Today was my first visit to their shop and I like it a lot. It was all but empty, no wait time and lots of stuff to buy. I'm notorious for buying stuff I don't need but somehow managed not to buy swag today. I ordered a double espresso shot and it was not very good. Very bitter on the front end and the back end too. I didn't add half n half or sugar because I really just wanted the pungent coffee taste and that slap yo Momma impact. Not today. I will try again in a few weeks but for now, this is not for me.

Pachamama stands out as one of my favorites in a city littered with coffee shops. They have a great open space with different types of seating for groups, pairs or individuals looking to get a little work done. The coffee is not only top notch, they are farmer owned and results in a better balanced business from one end to the other. The baristas all have their own unique personality while still providing you great service. It's also one of the few spots where you can bring your dog inside with you, just make sure it's well behaved so you don't ruin it for others 😊 Pachamama just has a lot of wonderful character and delicious coffee.

This is a great place to get coffee beans. They have beans for everyone! They have a huge selection of roasts ranging from light roast to extra dark roast. I love that they have a couple of different options of light roast because that is my favorite roast, however most places only offer one type of light roast. I also like to pick up a bag of coffee beans for my father in law. He loves dark roasts so it is nice to be able to get both our roasts at the same place. When buying beans they throw in a free cup of coffee which is always a nice perk. For their flavors of drinks my wife and I like the strawberry matcha and the honey bear.
