Jimmy John's — Restaurant in Saint Petersburg

I gave one star because zero was not an option. I’m a nurse at a hospital. Sunday we decided to order lunch. Several of us placed a group order together at 1143. An hour goes by still no sandwiches. I call to inquire, the lady said it left the store ten minutes ago. Knowing we are close I go down to meet the delivery driver. Twenty minutes later still no jimmy johns. I call again to inquire. This time they say they never received my order, they are also unable to pull it up to remake my order and cannot deliver the food. Even though all of us have been charged at this point and I call pull it up on my end and see that I have intact placed an order and I verify I ordered from the correct location. They said they cannot deliver it , I would have to come in now and pick it up if I want the food. Well we are a bunch of starving (at this point) nurses. So I verbally tell them the order making sure I tell them everything correctly, she even reads the order back to me so that it is correct. I go pick the food up, the people in the store were rude, not helpful, not apologetic about the situation, downright dismissive. Also everyone who ordered gave a delivery tip. The store ‘manager’ (who isn’t really a manager because he couldn’t refund my order, before I decided to go pick it up myself, couldn’t pull up my order and couldn’t make the decision to make more sandwiches and have them delivered. So really what good is he?) said I would have to call back tomorrow when renea is on to get my charge adjusted since I ending up being our delivery driver. Got back to the hospital…. Surprise surprise 2 out of the 3 sandwiches were incorrect!!! Called them to inform them, and were basically told they could remake them but it would be 2 hours , yes that’s right , hours before they could...

This place needs help. I'm assuming it's a staffing issue, but this is my 3rd poor experience in a row. The first two times, my deliveries took an hour and 45 mins and an hour and a half, respectively... and I was missing a bag of chips, too. They didn't offer anything in return, not even a refund of the delivery fee. I tried calling the store to inquire about the missing chips, but no answer. So, this last time I decided to pick up in-store, considering my last two deliveries took so long. And after 30 mins there was still no notification on the app that my order was ready for pick-up. I went into the store and my order wasn't even on the pick-up shelf (after over 30 mins). I went and asked someone about it, and I see my order just randomly sitting on the counter not even bagged yet. If I hadn't said anything, who knows how long it would have sat there. Then, when I get my order home, both subs looked like a 3-year-old assembled them (see pic). And to the person who responds to these reviews asking people to provide feedback on the website, please don't bother. I did that for my last delivery that took 1.5 hours, and no one reached out to me. Clearly this store has no desire to follow up...

In my opinion, this is the most poorly run store I have ever dealt with. I live 1,000 feet from the store and the "freaky fast" delivery takes 25-30 minutes every time. This past time, which will be my last, I ordered prior to the lunch rush. After 40 minutes, I called to find out what was going on and they said it was out for delivery. When I asked why it was taking so long, they hung up on me.

I called back numerous times and they never answered as they have called ID. So, I went into the store, with my order now approaching 50 minutes (it was two sandwiches). When I got to the register, I asked to cancel my order, and that is when I found out they hadn't even begun to make it yet, so I was lied to on top of my order being almost an hour long.

I then contacted corporate about the issue, as they clearly did not care to even pick up the phone. Corporate got back to me a week later informing me that since the this store is independently owned, "I did hear back from the owner of this location and he has decided not to reach out."

In my opinion, the owner is aware of these issues and doesn't even care to fix them. It is a shame that corporate allows their name to be...
