03/20/19 - 8:20 pm # 281 I visited as I usually do every week since Costa Vida is one of my favorite "restaurants" and the few "good" businesses that remain in the Gateway.
When ordering "Sweet Pork Enchiladas" I came across a totally unethical service, where the portion of protein distress reached 1oz in total. Which leads me to ask for "extra portion". Then I specified that please serve me a little sauce, and for some reason it served 3 times the amount of sauce they usually serve. Seeing the lack of professionalism, I ask for the person in charge or superior, and unfortunately it was the same person since there was no manager.
When the order was paid, the same person began to make comments and looks of very bad shape in front of the customers. And to add more, the station for drinks and utensils was dirty and with trays.
Honestly I do not understand that it is worth having a "welcome" or "happy" greeting if they then serve you in this way.
In a few words I can define the service as anti-ethical, poorly professional and hypocritical.
I hope that those who are responsible for this comment (Management) can take this comment as constructive, as Costa Vida is one of the few places that are worthwhile in that mall.
Recommendation: If your restaurant serves the public in person and in front, they should train their staff as professional ethics.
(I have spent more than 10 years in customer service between restaurants and hotels, and I can distinguish that people how they are, are the ones that lead a good business to failure.)
Español 03/20/19 - 8:20pm #281 Visité como normalmente lo hago cada semana ya que Costa Vida es uno de mis “restaurantes” preferido y de los poco “Buenos” negocios que quedan en el Gateway.
Al ordenar “Sweet Pork Enchiladas” me topo con un servicio totalmente No ético, donde la porción de proteína apena llegaba a 1oz en total. Lo cual me lleva a pedir “extra porción”. Luego le especifiqué que por favor me sirviera Poca salsa, y por alguna razón sirvió 3 veces la cantidad de salsa que usualmente sirven. Al ver la falta de profesionalismo, procuro por la persona encargada o superior, y desafortunadamente era la misma persona ya que no se encontraba ningún gerente.
Al estar pagaron la orden, la misma persona empieza hacer comentarios y miradas de muy mala forma frente a los clientes Y para añadir más, la estación de bebidas y utensilios estaba sucia y con bandejas.
Honestamente No entiendo el de que vale el que te den una “bienvenida” o saludo tan “alegre” si luego te sirven de esta manera.
En pocas palabras puedo definir el servicio como anti-ético, pobremente profesional e hipócrita.
Espero que a los que le incumbe este comentario (Gerencia) puedan tomar este comentario como constructivo, ya que Costa Vida es uno de los poco lugares que valen la pena en ese centro comercial.
Recomendación: Si su restaurante le sirve al público en persona y de frente, deberían de entrenar a su personal en cuanto ética profesional.
(Llevo más de 10 años en servicio al cliente entre restaurantes y hoteles, y puedo distinguir que personas cómo está, son las que llevan un buen negocio...

Read moreThe food was very good! The customer service was great! We ordered a nacho and 2 kids meals. The person starting the order together misunderstood that I wanted quesadillas with just cheese and veggies. (It was busy and loud and I have a quiet voice). She put beans and rice on the tortilla as if she was preparing a salad. I mentioned that I'd asked for quesadillas but something still was lacking in communication. She topped it with cheese and put it in the oven. Once I got my order I went back and explained what had happened to someone near the check out. I wish I had caught her name! She was very helpful. She went back and made the cheese quesadillas and brought them to our table. She asked if we wanted rice and beans. I said my kids probably wouldn't eat it anyway and thanked her - we had already gotten the rice and beans in the previous tortillas. She asked what else she could get us then. I said it was fine but she insisted and asked about chips. I knew my kids would like that so she brought them chips. She was willing to completely fix the order and make sure we were happy.
