Honestly the WORST EXPERIENCE at any restaurant ever!! I’d be bloody embarrassed if I owned a franchise with such low quality employees!!! Save your money and eat somewhere better around city creek food court . I’m not sure if this is the one I went to specifically, but I know it’s the one inside the food court building. I came in with my wife cus she thought she likes costa vida and immediately I noticed a huge pile of garbage in the trash can and knew something wasn’t right for it not to be emptied. We spend about 5 minutes in like before someone attended to us (and there was only one person ahead of us), then some employee did. He stopped taking our order mid point and we waited for about another minute and half. Then a slimmer dude continued the order till we hit check out. The second dude who was the slimmer dude, Mexican by race was about to leave us at the check point again to go start a fresh order for someone that just came in so I reacted and said “excuse me please we need you to just check us out before we stay here longer, we are already at checkpoint which literally will not take 30 seconds as we only bought a large nachos. He grumpily came to us and told me to watch my tone and don’t talk to him like that. And knowing that I did not yell at him, I just kept my cool while he mumbled and grumbled saying “ no one likes you or want to take your order bruh”. I kinda just looked at the garbage boy in disbelief because a simple form of communication would have made us waited for as longs as they needed but instead no one spoke to us. My wife was so disgusted with him and the service that she would not eat there no more. Literally such a terrible experience, lack of work ethic, lack of communication and from what we saw, lack of quality employees. What is food at a restaurant if it is been served by a rude 5 dollar employee? REALLY TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE (I’m not sure if all of it is like so), but the one at the saltlake food court is...
Read moreUsually enjoy Costa Vida. This location may have some issues. Employees aren't rude, but are lazy and don't match our expectations for Costa Vida. My wife has allergies to gluten and dairy and one of the things that has always drawn us here is we can SEE that they take it seriously... here, the employee seemed to roll her eyes, then go swap out her gloves, then picked up the flour tortillas ready to make the salad... after telling her that we needed corn tortillas, she just put the flour ones back and with the same hand got the corn tortillas onto the salad. Not a big deal if you aren't allergic, but scary if you are. Then when we ordered chips and salsa, we were told that we could have PICO but they put away the salsa (we were there about 45 minutes before close). They did give us a large side of guac, probably more than what we ordered and the burritos were well-loaded with ingredients. I would say that this could be a good location, but the crew needs some more attention to allergy-awareness and cheeriness. I know it is a difficult low skill job, but the attitudes you develop about work will carry through to all of your jobs. Make the best of your work environment and take care of...
Read moreThe food is fine. It's not two different from Cafe Rio Costa Vida or other fast casual Mexican food restaurants.
But the workers here are not the best They Don't Really Care to listen to the customers too much and they over often overcharge.
The last time I wasn't here they overcharged Me by like $8 and I went to or I wanted to talk to the worker. But even before I could pay they had they set up the cash register for the price. Then that the worker disappeared before I could even say anything so I had and and the worker was gone for some time. So I just paid so that I could get my food and eat it. And then when I saw other people waiting to pay that someone would come up put the order in the cash register and disappear before the customer could even open up their wallet or to even double check the price. So the workers are not the best here not the best customer service and they don't always give accurate information about prices and they tend to overcharge. I wanted to show them my receipt and tell them that they overcharged me, but they were all busy doing other...
