Midway Coffee — Restaurant in Salt Lake City

I had an extra 15 minutes and wanted to treat myself, I was eager to try Midway. Really cute space, and my coffee was great, there are a lot of fun options on the custom menu. I got the "Vanilla Del Ray", it was delicious! The barista was maybe distracted (I don't mind, I'm buying coffee not friends), but helpful and nice.

However, the tiramisu I bought was so, so spoiled. I didn't realize until I had already left and took a bite. Really grossed me out and I didn't have the time to drive back and make it right, so I just chucked it. It's ultimately not that big of a deal- there are worse things in life than buying a spoiled dessert. But maybe take a bite of your dessert before you leave, just in case.

ETA- I had it at 3 stars, but came back to make it 1 solely because I puked after hours of a sour stomach from the tiramisu. I still understand crap happens, but whoever is in charge of the cold case, you gotta switch that out consistently. Not only was this unpleasant and sad to waste money but my whole day...

I was lost in SLC and stumbled upon this fine establishment. Let me say… I was so throughly surprised. A (boy?) named kitty served me the most delicious quad espresso over ice. I had never seen it made with such precision and attention. They were so friendly and talkative, really brightened my rainy day.
